Chapter 30: The Finals

April

Mackenzie

The day for the quidditch finals the whole team was in chaos.

"I can't find my uniform!" Iris shouted frantically running around the dorm.

As I continue on my way to the great hall to eat breakfast.

"Some one touched my broom and now I can't find it!" Griffin bellowed almost knocking me over.

"Ah sorry L.B (little black) didn't see you there. Hey have you seen my broom?" He asked.

"I have not Griffin but I'd check Slytherins or your brother Charlie." I said smirking.

Griffins face dawned with realization but it soon turned to irritation. "CHARLIE?!?" He bellowed and ran off.

I was in the corridor now when James and Sirius ran past me. "Oi! What are you two knuckle heads doing?" I shout.

"We can't find our quidditch plans for today's game!" They frantically shouted and took off.

I finally made my way to the great hall and say next to Lily and Remus.

"Where's everybody?" I ask looking around.

"Bella's helping Iris look for her uniform. And Molly is helping calm Arthur's nerves." Lily said.

"Sirius and James are looking for there plays. Griffin is looking for his broom. And I don't know where Charlie, Jack, or Jackson are." Remus added.

We ate the rest of breakfast in silence. I finished eating and told Lily and Remus I had to get ready for the match. I don't know why everyone is stressing out about this game. In my mind it's just another game against Ravenclaw. Nothing more nothing less. Once I put on all my gear I grab my broom and head out to the pitch.

"There you are." Sirius Said rushing out of the Gryffindor team tent and gripping my arm.

"James was about to explode." He said pulling me into the tent.

"Alright so we are going to play fast and-." James stopped taking and looked up to me.

"THERE YOU ARE. I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD OR SOMETHING!" James yelled.

"Now where was I oh right. So the the play is we have to play fast and make clean quick passes." He continued.

Once James was done with the pep talk we grabbed are brooms and flew out.

Third person

"In today's match we have Ravenclaw and Gryffindor!" Alex Jordan announced. 

As the team flew out James yelled "don't get hurt today Kenzie!"

"Second that!" Sirius yelled.

Mackenzie rolled her eyes. Madame Hooch released the bludgers and snitch. She blew the whistle and threw the quaffle up and the game started.

"Potter gets the quaffle and weaves in and out Ravenclaw players.

He passes the ball last minute to Wood. Wood scores!" Jordan announced.

A Ravenclaw beater ,Colin Chang, whacked the beater towards Iris who was looking for the snitch. Mackenzie saw it in time and hit it back at one of the Ravenclaw chasers.

Time skip

"And Marie Brown just scored another 10 points to Gryffindor. Bringing the score to 150-80 Gryffindor." Jordan yelled.

Mackenzie and Sirius kept hitting bludgers to the Ravenclaw chasers and keeper. Arthur Weasley was catching a lot of the quaffle a as well. Iris finally spotted the snitch and started to fly after it. The Ravenclaw seeker soon followed. During the chase for the snitch Gryffindor scored 3 more times brining the score to 180-80. Minutes later Iris took a dive and came up with the snitch.

"150 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR WINS THE QUIDDITCH AND HOUSE CUP!" Jordan yelled as red and gold confetti appeared out of thin air.

The people in Gryffindor cheered and flooded the stands. Iris was raised on James, and Sirius' shoulders. Mackenzie was right next to her cheering with a smile on her face.

"And let's not forget the best beater this team has ever seen." Griffin said coming up behind Mackenzie and lifting her on his shoulders.(did I mention Griffin is 6'9, Jake is 6'8, Charlie is 6'7, Remus is 6'2 and a half,  James and Jackson are 6'1. Sirius is 5'11, Mackenzie is 5'10 and a half, Iris is 5'10, Bella and Peter are 5'8, and Lily is 5'5.  Just thought you'd like to know.)

After they where done celebrating. They headed back towards the dorm and threw a party. They all just laughed, danced, drank butter beer, and had a good time. (I can promise no one got drunk) Around midnight everyone started to head up towards there dorm. As All the quidditch players went to bed they all had a smile on there face.
