Chapter 77: Little James

I was reading a book while Alexis was taking her nap. It was quite an interesting book. I was about to flip the page when Arlie dropped a letter that was addressed to Alexis and I on my lap. Since it was addressed to both of us I waited until she got up. Once she did we ate a snack and I opened the letter and read it to her.

Dear My beautiful wife and daughter,

I know I haven't written to you at all and I'm sorry. Finding an owl, paper, and pen was difficult. I'm well a where I haven't seen you guys in a year and I'm sorry. I miss you so much. I think about you guys everyday. I'm counting the days until I see my girls again. I know it's probably late but Happy Birthday baby girl. I can't believe you're two. I'm doing fine. It's hard to sleep at night with all the noise but I manage. Tell my mom, Malina,Griffin, and everyone else that I love and miss them. Love you guys so much.

I finished with tears in my eyes.

"Mama don't cry Daddy says he's fine and he loves us." Alexis said giving me a hug.

"I know baby girl. I'm just happy." I say returning the hug.

Then there was a crack and Alexis ran to see what it was.

"UNCLE PADFOOT!" She shouted.

Sirius is home. I thought. "Hey little lexis. Guess what you have a new cousin." Sirius said picking her up.

"Yeah!!!" She clapped.

"Lily had her baby."'

"What did she have?" I ask.

"A boy. The names Harry James Potter. " he said.

"Aw that's nice." I smile.

"Does that mean I can see uncle prongs and aunt Lily!" Alexis said excitedly.

"Yeah but you know the drill. You have to wear the blind fold." He said fishing into his pocket for two black blindfolds.

We put them on and he apperated us to Lily and James house in the living room. Once we got there Sirius set Alexis down.

"Is that little lex I hear." James said coming into the living room. "UNCLE PRONGS!" Alexis says jumping on him with a hug.

"I want to see Harry." Alexis says.

"Ok follow me." James says and leads us to the bedroom. Lily is in the bed with a little baby with messy black hair.

"It's Harry." Alexis exclaimed and pointed to him.

"Yeah." Lily said smiling.

"He is cute." Alexis replied and kisses his forehead.

James sat Alexis on the bed next to Lily.

"I missed you aunt Lily." She said hugging Lily.

"I missed you to lex." Lily said hugging her back.

"Can I hold him?" I ask.

"Of course." Lily says handing him off to me.

"So you named him after his father. It suits him ?" I say.

"Yeah I hope he doesn't inherit his father's knack for trouble." Lily replied.

"I stil think he should of been Proof-I- had-sex-with- Lily- Evans." James announced.

Lily shot him a look. "Or Harry. Harry is a good name too." He said smiling.

"Guys with you-know-who  and all James and I discussed that if anything were to happen to us that You two would be Harry's guardians." Lily stated.

"Yes of course." I agree bouncing Harry. Sirius looked confused.

"We are asking you to do to be Harry's godparents. " James explained.

"Oh yeah totally." Sirius said with a goofy smile.

"Here hold your godson." I say and hand him Harry."

"He's so tiny." Sirius marveled. "But I think lexis was smaller." He added.

"Speaking of which I have a present for the godmother." James said and handed me a box.

"Really you didn't have to." I say.

"We wanted too." Lily said smiling. I opened the box and in it were three silver charms for my bracelet.

"The crown is for Lex because she's your princess. The star is for your cousin Draco because he's named after a star. The boy with the ruby's is for Harry because he's your godson and he was born in July which the birthstone is a Ruby." James said.

"Aw thanks." I say putting them on to my bracelet. 

After we that I talked to Lily while James was holding Harry and was playing with Sirius and Alexis.

After a few Hours I said "Well it's getting late we need to head home."

"Ok mama." Alexis said rubbing  her eyes and I pick her up.

"Ok see you soon guys." Sirius said and apperates us home. 

I head up stairs and lay Alexis down in her bed.

"Night baby girl." I say kissing her head.

"Night mama. Night daddy." She says whispering the last part.
