Chapter 49: Unwanted Guest

"You said what?! Chase! Hindi natin alam kung kailan bibigay ang katawan ng mommy mo. So we have to stay by her side at all times! Hindi ka pwedeng umalis para sa babaeng yun at iwan ang mommy mo! Hindi ako papayag na umalis ka!"

"But dad please! Shane needs me! She's in big trouble and..."

"Enough! Enough with your reasons! Your mom is your top priority Chase! I need you to stay...Please..." dad's words send guilt to my heart. Kung kahapon ay determinado akong lumipad papuntang New Zealand ngayon naman ay nagdadalawang-isip na ako.

Dad has a point. I should put mom as my top priority pero di ko kayang pabayaan na lang si Shane knowing that she's in a terrible state sa bansang hindi naman niya kabisado.

Just by imagining things that are happening to her worries me big time. Hindi na nga ako makatulog ng maayos sa sobrang pag-aalala sakanya. Miss na miss ko na siya at gusto ko na siyang puntahan sa NZ. If only dad allows me.

Kinabukasan ay pumunta ulit ng hotel si Cris, Eric at Ken. I told them about our conversation last night and they've shared there views about it. I badly needed it anyway.

"I'll try to talk to tito Nilo about this but I can't promise you a better result bro." Cris patted my shoulder giving me assurance that'll help me.

"Thanks Cris."

"I get tito Nilo's point bro and I understand you as well. You are stuck between your responsibility as a son and a boyfriend.That must be very stressful. I'll see what I can do about it." turan naman ni Eric sa aking tabi.

"Thanks man."
