CHAPTER 6: Friend's Conflict

[ARKIN'S POV]

"Dumako naman tayo sa showbiz balita, Mga babae sa isang bus na byaheng EDSA nagkagulo dahil daw nakita ang sikat na sikat na actor na si Arkin Avrey Bien o mas kilala sa tawag na AA Bien sa loob ng bus na sinasakyan nila. Cony, ibalita mo."

"Salamat Mary, Nandito nga ako ngayon sa EDSA kasama ang ilan sa mga babaeng nagsasabi na nakita daw nila si AA Bien kaninang umaga. Sigurado ba kayong si AA Bien nga ang nakita niyo?" asked the reporter from one of the girls in her side.

"Siguradong-sigurado po! Si Arkin po talaga yung nakita namin!!!!!!" she answered tsaka tumili ng tumili together with the other girls at the back of her.

"Malay niyo naman, kamukha lang ni Arkin?"

"It was really him, I even have his picture! Here!" the other girl uttered then showed her phone to the reporter, the reporter then showed it in the television and it was indeed me, good thing Shane was not on that picture.

"Siya po talaga. . . . . . . " Manager Sang already turned off the television and throw the remote on the couch. Her face was very irritated and she keeps on walking back and forth in front. She crossed her arms then looked at me with her serious eyes then said, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING ARKIN?! YOU RODE ON THE BUS!! SERIOUSLY?!!! CARE TO EXPLAIN TO ME?!!" She was damn shouting at me already and I know how mad she is.

I did'nt ask permission kasi sakanya kahapon for I know na hindi naman niya ako papayagan, I thought everything will be just fine pero I never expected things to happen that way.

"I'm Sorry Dianna, I just wanted to go out with Shane. I thought everything will be just fine but then--- that happened, I'm sorry." I answered with sincerity in my voice, I just hope she forgives me because if not we will be living Philippines this instant.

"GOSH ARKIN!! Everyone thought the you already flied back to U.S., and now that they know that you are still here, media's and paparazzi's will surely look for you. I think by now, there are reporters outside the hotel waiting for you. We have no other choice but to fly back to U.S. now!" She said with authority but I stood up disagreeing with what she wants.

"No Dianna! I can't leave yet, you promised we'll stay longer! I just------you know what, I promise to be more careful next time. Promise!" as I was raising my right hand trying to get her pity. She knew I really wanted to stay, but under one condition, I won't let anyone see me, but what's done is done, I just won't do it again.

She sighed heavily as a sign of defeat then looked at me directly, her gaze was back to normal, for now.

"If this happen again, you know what will happen." she said, I smiled and hugged her tight as she was trying to escape from my embrace.

"Okay! Okay! Enough Arkin! I can't breath!" I already let go of her then she just fixed her dress and hair, she's still frowning but I know that she has forgiven me already.

[SHANE'S POV]

Napatingin ako sa labas ng bintana ng kwarto ko ng may biglang magdoorbell sa labas ng gate namin, sinilip ko lang kung sino yun at truck ng LBC ang nakita ko.

Nagtataka nga ako eh, kasi wala naman nasabi si mommy na may delivery siyang dadating.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at tumatakbong bumaba ng hagdan at lumabas ng bahay para buksan ang gate, tumambad naman sakin ang isang malaking kahon na halos nasa bewang ko na, malaki-laki din siya pero ano kayang laman nito?
