Jiyong's Diary
We got foreign language for our first period. Almost all of the students have arrived already even our absentee; Go Minho was present except for one. I turned to Dara's empty seat. She hadn't gone to school again. It got me worried somehow.
"I told you, Aunt Eunie wouldn't let me talk to her." I heard Lee Jinyoung exclaimed. Dara's friends were two seats away from me. They seemed to be talking about Dara.
"Did you ask her why?" This time it was the new girl, Kim Suzy.
"Of course."Lee Jinyoung said with preposterous look. "She told me that she's still resting and she'll be back for school in no time so we don't need to worry about her."
"Still, I have a bad feeling about this." Nickhun said. I scoffed to myself.
"It's not only you who's getting the same vibes." Lee Jinyoung said while touching his chin. "Aunt Eunie told me something else and it got me worried somehow."
I leaned forward to listen more but a group of girls started giggling and talking about their boyfriends that I wasn't able to get more information from the fools. It got me mad and I kicked the table in front of me. The table tipped over. Everybody looked at my way even Nickhun and his friends. The girls who were making the noise earlier had gone silent. They were scared I could tell. I stood up and left the room.
I didn't attend the first period. The second period was craftsmanship. Every student has to carve their own master piece in a piece of wood. I caught Ham Jiyeon looking at me while carving a flower but she looked away immediately when I caught her looking at me. I just smiled. I saw Nickhun carving a Mother holding her child into his wood. Suzy was carving a couple of lollipop.
"Nice Lollipop." I heard Lee Jinyoung commented.
I saw Kim Suzy's face turned red. "It's not a lollipop, it's a tree!"
I thought I heard Nickhun snickered even I almost choked out a small giggle but he cleared his throat as soon as Suzy glared at him. "Wow, I didn't know it was a tree. There must be something wrong with our eyes."
"Shut up!" Kim Suzy warned. "Have you ever seen the movie, The Awesome Lorax? The trees from the movie were like these."
"Yeah except the tress from the movie didn't have swirls on them." Lee Jinyoung teased. Kim Suzy punched him on the shoulder and heardhim yelp.
"What about yours Jin-ah? How's your carving coming up?" Nickhun asked.
Lee Jinyoung showed his carving. It was an unbelievably work of art. Sometimes I wonder where he got those talents. He's smart, cunning, talented and exceptionally arrogant.
