Jiyong's Diary
I was on my way home from a convenience store when I had a chance of escaping from my guards. Even when I was out walking with my friends, the guards would always follow a few steps behind. It really pissed me off.
While inside the convenience store, I heard one of my guards answering his phone. My dad might've called to check in. While waiting for my turn to pay to the cashier, my eyes caught something in a newspaper. I didn't hesitate and grabbed it from the stand, ignoring the sign saying 'PAY BEFORE YOU READ'
"Hey!" I heard the cashier say. "Didn't you read the sign?"
I ignored him and went to read the headline anyway. It said: 'KING Industries' heiress and Woo Corp's heir in a secret relationship?' And below the headline there was a photo attached where the two of them were kissing.
"Stupid idiots." I mumbled to myself.
"Hey kid!" This time the cashier went to confront me. "Are you deaf?"
I turned to my guards who were standing just outside the store. The two of them were talking with each other. The one in-charge was saying something to his colleague. They looked worried. Dad might've scolded them. Then something just clicked inside my head. Both of them were preoccupied at the moment. This might be my only chance of escaping. I turned to the cashier and shoved the items I picked earlier.
"Sorry, I changed my mind. Your store sucks." I immediately ran towards the toilet.
Once inside, I locked the door and began looking for an escape route. Fortunately, there was a window large enough for an adult to fit in. I climbed and escaped, running for my life. While escaping, I happened to bump into my classmates, Choi Sunny and Ham Jiyeon. Thanks to them, I was able to escape from my pursuers indefinitely.
And now, I was on my way to see Dara. I wanted to know if she was okay. Suzy called me earlier and told me about her sickness and just from the way she pronounced the word, it sounded like it was a serious and dangerous sickness. It got me worried.
I was getting out from the elevator when I happened to see Lee Jinyoung get out from one of the room. That must be where Dara was being confined. I came running towards him and as soon as he saw me coming he gave me a disapproving look.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Jinyoung demanded.
"How's she doing?" I ignored his glare and kept glancing inside the room, hoping to catch a sight of Dara. "Can I talk to her?"
I heard Jinyoung scoff. I turned to look at him. "Are you seriously asking me that? Do you really think I would allow you to see her or even get near her? In your dreams pal!" Jinyoung crossed his arms. "Just go home and don't even think about camping outside. I'll stand guard the whole night if I have to."
