Baby squirrel, you’re a sexy motherfucker (Chapter five)

We were looking for some great t-shirt to wear for the beginning of college when I saw the perfect sweater. I took my size and went straight to the fitting room. It fits perfectly, it wasn’t too warm and the coloured really matches my skin tone and hair colour. Sometimes it isn’t easy to find t-shirt because I’m not very tanned and I’m blonde haired so sometimes it doesn’t really fit, but this sweater was tie-dyed in dark blue and a little lighter blue. I took it off and when back to Lace to see if she had found something.

-      Found something interesting? I asked.

-      No, there was one t-shirt but they don’t have my size. And you?

-      Yeah, I found this sweater. I’ll go buy it if you’re ready to leave.

-      Sure, I come with you.

When we exited the store, we decided to head to our hotel so we can choose which restaurant we’ll go because it was almost time for dinner and as always I was starving and so was Lace.

Back to the Sheraton, we got a lot of difficulties to get in since the word have spread that 5 Second of Summer are staying there. When we finally entered we got stopped by the guards and had to show our room keys to prove we are really staying here. We finally succeed to get to our room. I can’t lie that after all this emotion with Ashton and the screaming girls everywhere I was very happy to come back to our room, all alone. We put on some music to get prepare again, but this them it was for dinner. Hopefully we could get in a good restaurant and have a little drink between girl, since we are both 18 years old.

-      There is the Baton Rouge close to the hotel, wanna go there? Asked Lace while curling her hair.

-      Yeah, why not coconut? I asked laughing at my own joke.

-      You say stupid things sometimes you know that? She replied smiling at me.

-      Dah! Of course I know. I like to say stupid things. So when do you want to go eat? Because my stomach can’t stand for so long without food.

-      Yeah, so do I, she replied laughing. Right after we’re ready would be good.

-      Alright!

Twenty minutes after we were pumped up to go for dinner. We head out of our hotel, still bounded by girl wanting to see the boys. We walked a few meters and we were arrived the restaurant.

-      Hello girls, how can I help you? Asked a sweet voice at the entrance of the restaurant.

-      Hi, a table for two please. Lace answered back.

-      Alright, just follow me please, she replied with a nice smile on her face.

Since we are 18 she took us a table in the bar section so we could take a drink while eating.

While we were looking at the menu to order our dinner we noticed a group of boys entered the restaurant and the lady brought them in our section because it was the quietest one and there was no kids around.

-      Have you choose what you want to take? Asked Lace after a few minutes looking at the menu.

-      Yeah, I will go with the chicken hamburger that has bacon in it and a sex on the beach to join the party, I said laughing at my stupidity. What about you?

-      I’ll go with the same, but I will take an apricot brandy sour instead of a sex on the beach.  

We ordered our dinner to the waiter and while waiting for it to arrive we had time to discuss, because she knew she would like to know about Ashton because I’ve been very quiet about the subject since we left him at the Urban Outfitters earlier today.  But to my surprise she hasn’t talked about it, I guess she knew I wasn’t ready to tell her because I think even my head don’t know what to think about him.

-      Damn Mary! Lace almost shouted even if I was straight in front of her. The boys… the boys are here!

-      What? What boys are you talking about?

-      The boys of One Direction are in the restaurant, they are the one who entered a few minutes ago! I can’t believe they came here to eat. She said trying to keep her calm.

Lace couldn’t help it like me either because I have a crush on Harry like you already know, but she has a huge crush on Zayn for like a few years now. She was always telling me that she wouldn’t freak out like the other but I knew she would panic a little when she would see him in real, as it is right now.

-      Calm down Lace, everything will be fine. We don’t have directioner written on our forehead! They won’t notice us.

As I finish to say that I hear a familiar song: « baby squirrel, you’re a sexy mutherfucker »

As the song continues I realise it is my phone ringing. I try my best to pick it up the quickest I could but I have already taken the attention of the boys. Yeah, the girl who said that they won’t notice us just found a way to get it. Applause to me!

-      Hello? I say as I take the call.

-      Hey, how has been the road? My daddy asked.

-      Very good, we got a few road works but still it wasn’t that bad. Can I call you later? I’m in the restaurant with Lace.

-      Don’t have to, it was just to know if it has got well. Have a nice dinner.

-      Thanks dad, have a nice evening.

As I hang up with my dad, Lace gave a look that really grabbed my attention.

-      What? Have I done something? I asked questioning her look.

-      Yeah, probably the fact that now the boys are starring at us because your phone rang too loud. She said a bit angry at me.

-      Listen, I’m sorry. I didn’t tough it was that loud. It isn’t like they have been doing a move to our table. Like why would they, they have better thing to do than come to us because of my ringtone. I said laughing a bit to make her feel better.

My planned worked. She laughed back at what I said and gave me reason. How clever am I.
