Today was the day! (Chapter Thirty-Six)

We all got up around the same time, an hour before dinner time. We made a group decision and decided to go out for dinner today since we had no idea of what to do. We headed to a very good restaurant quite far from our house, but we didn’t mind.

-      We have a little surprise for you girls but you’ll only see it at the restaurant. Said Calum taking Lace’s hand.

-      Why did you tell us? I said a little bit angry.

-      You guys are devil! Replied Lace, approving my disappointment.

Arrived at the restaurant, the boys blinded our eyes until we were sat at our table. They took off the bandana from our eyes and smiled at us, then at everyone around the table.

-      Girls. Started to say Ashton. We’d like to present you to our family.

Oh my fucking god! We are meeting their parents. What the heck, I wasn’t expecting that when they told us they had a surprise for us.

-      Hello, I am Mary. I said stuttering on every word still surprised.

-      Hi, I am Lace. She said a bit shyly.

-      Mary, this is my Mom Angela, but call her Angie, this is my dad, Paul and my little brother Harry. My sister couldn’t come, unfortunately.

-      Hi, I am glad to finally meet you. I said in my best voice. Ashton talked me a few times about you and I was looking forwards to meet you.

-      She’s just as pretty as on the picture Ashton! Said Harry, his little brother.

-      Thank you Harry. I said blushing a little bit at the compliment.

-      Welcome in our crazy family sweetie. Said Ashton’s mom as she smiled from Harry’s words.

-      Lace, this is my lovely mom Laura and my dad Lukas.

-      I am enchanted to meet you. Like Mary said, I was really looking forwards to meet you because Calum has showed me a few pictures of you and have talked about you a few times, so it is great to finally meet you.

-      And so we are lovey. You look just as the picture Calum sent us of you. Welcome in the Hood’s family Lace. Said Laura, Calum’s mom as she smiles widely.

-      Thank you Laura. She said a huge smile on her face.

I could see she was very happy about being accepted like a member of his family. It meant a lot for both of us to be included in their family, so were both very happy.

We have been talking with their parents for a long time. We’d stayed at the restaurant for like 4 hours when it could’ve take 2. We were glad everything went well and also that we totally love our stepparents. They are all amazing, just like their sons.

They came back to their hotel, because they came all the way from Australia to meet us and they were staying at the hotel in the city centre. So we took them to their hotel and we headed back home with Calum and Ashton.
