Time goes by so fast, but our memories do last..

We wish we were beside you...

’’We wish we were beside you…’’ (Chapter twenty-two)

We left the boys and went straight to our place with the help with Paul, not to get squish by the fans.

-      I am so excited for today! I said enthusiast to Lace. But I am sad that the boys are leaving tomorrow…

-      I know. It feels weird to be excited for something and be very sad for another that is related…

-      But what if we have the best time tonight for the show and just leave our sad thoughts and we can talk about the sad things tomorrow when we’ll be home, not to cry in the car…

-      Yeah, that is a great idea…

We both really wanted to smile and enjoy the waiting like every other girls but sincerely we couldn’t. We were sure that during the show we will have fun and enjoy it but right now… we couldn’t stop thinking about the boys leaving for the USA tomorrow.

‘’She dropped out of school ‘cause she doesn’t need the grades. The colour in her hair doesn’t seem to fade. I get dressed up when I go out, but she get dressed out. ‘’

As I heard those lyrics I got a little enthusiast because I thought the show was beginning but it was only the video showing on the big screen of the arena. Lace grabbed my arm and jumped a little.

-      The boys are coming on the stage, the show will start! She said not trying to shout it very excited about it.

-      No way, already? I asked surprise. I have to take out my camera to catch the beginning of the gig!

I took my camera from my purse and turned it on to start recording. The lights in the arena went off and everyone was screaming as loudest as they could. I almost cried because I was happy for the boys, it was a very warm-hearted welcome. The scene lights went on and we could the huge smile on every boy’s face. I started recording as they began their first song. I didn’t know that one very much but I think it is called ‘’Lost Boy’’. I couldn’t think about something than how Ashton is so darn sexy playing the drums! That was a shock.

I put my arms around Lace’s neck and give her a huge her because I could feel she was emotional and so was I. After the first song, the boys talked to the crowd a little and it made us feel happy and also lucky to be in a relationship with them, so we came back to normal. We knew all the songs after the first one so we sang along with the boys. After heartbreak girl, Ashton took the lead and talked to us.

-      What’s up Montreal? He shouted in his microphone with a huge smile on. We don’t speak much French you know, but I do know a few words…

He took a small pause after those words. He then took his drumstick put it in the air and pointed it in our direction. I was surprise with his move but still I was touched.

-      Is it, ‘’Je t’aime’’? He asked to the crowd, but still looking at me with his drumstick in the same direction.

I could feel the tears rushing to scroll on my cheek. Lace took me in her arms and gave me a huge hug to make me feel better.

-      Sweetie… he managed to say before cleaning his troat. This one is for you! He finished to say.

The crowd was wondering who he was talking about but we heard a collective ‘’ahhhh’’ which made me feel ever weaker.

-      I would add that, my babe it is also for you. Said Calum after Ashton.

-      And now I will talk to you lovely crowd of Montreal. Said Luke breaking the boy’s emotional moment. We will slow down the beat and I’d like you to take out everything take makes lights and wave it in the air!

As he said that, everyone took their cellphone or camera out and put on the lights. That arena was very beautiful and it made that moment even more magical. Ashton started to play on his drum and Luke, Calum and Michael followed him.

‘’In a minute I was all packed up, I’ve got a tickets to another world. I don’t wanna go, I don’t wanna.’’

It was Beside You, my favourite 5SOS song. I turned to Lace to see her dancing alone and I could see that there were tears scrolling down her cheeks. I took her in my arms and we danced along together. We both cried in each other arms, as the lyrics fits exactly to our situation. But I didn’t want to see how we will look during One Direction show, there is a lot of love songs and it can all refers to our situation with Ashton and Calum.

‘’We both fall asleep underneath the same sky, to the beat of a heart at the same time. So close but so far away. Can you hear me?’’

As they sang the lyrics I could feel my heart breaking in millions of pieces. Lace knew that I was emotional and very sensitive to those things but I could bet she had never thought I’d be like this tonight. We hugged each other tightly until the end of the song.

The boys finished their show with ‘’Try Hard’’. They thank everyone for coming and they also promised they will come back because we are the loudest crowd ever and they love us very much. Just before the lights went out and they go out of the stage Ashton and Calum join each other to the nearest microphone to our seat and just said those simple words: We wish we were beside you, love you forever! Then they just left the stage leaving Lace and I alone in our tears and our joy that they dedicated ‘’Beside You’’ to us and talked to us on stage.

We felt like everyone was looking at us, but we didn’t care and we just continued doing our thing, which is coming back to normal and dry our tears.

Now, we were waiting for THE event of the night: One Direction!!
