Ch.26

 Karoline POV

After mom left I started crying and Blake calmed me down. I was so thankful for him. I decided i was going to give myself two more weeks there, so the next time mom came she could take me home. I was going to ask Blake when he got out. I had to go and eat dinner and then I got some free time. I loved Saturday night dinners because I got to choose what I ate. I picked a salad, juice, and garlic bread. I sat down next to Blake. 

“I was wondering, when are you getting out,” I asked.

“I am getting out in around a month. What about you,” I asked.

“I am getting out in two weeks,” I said.

“I am going to miss you when you leave,” he said.

“I'll miss you too, but maybe I can visit you on family day,” I said.

“Maybe,” he smiled. We finished in silence, but not a comfortable on either.

“You know what,” I asked.

“What,” he replied. 

“I am going to miss you so much,” I said 

“It’s still a few weeks away, so let’s not think about it,” he said. 

“In twenty minutes we are allowing level 2’s and less to go to the beach for an hour or two,” someone said over the intercom.

 “We are level two’s we can go,” I practically screamed.

“Yeah, we can,” he laughed. 

“I am done, I am going to get ready,” I said. 

“Me two,” he replied.

I rushed to my room and got on a white strapless top with a pink heart in the middle and some pink ruffle bottoms. I got on a white oversized cardigan and some pink sparkly sperries. I brushed my hair and put it into a messy bun. We had five minutes to get to the lobby. I grabbed a big pink bag. I packed a white towel, a big blanket for Blake and I to sit on, a pair of flip flops and another pair of clothes. I was going to be late, so I grabbed my I.D. and ran to the front. I got there right as she was leaving. 

I ran up to Blake and grabbed his hand. We walked to the beach. He was in a green skin top and some red trunks. He was so cute. I sat my bag down and grabbed a blanket. I sat it down and then we layed back and watched the sunset. I put my head in the crook of his neck and he kissed my forehead.

“Are we allowed to go into the water,” I asked.

 “Yeah, you wanna go,” he asked.

“Yeah, you,” he asked.

We both got up and ran into the icy water. It was so cold and I thought I could feel my feet freezing.

“It’s so cold,” I squealed 

“Yeah it is, let’s get out,” Blake suggested.

 “Good idea,” I laughed. I got back to the blanket and grabbed my towel. I dried off and got my cardigan back on and put my flip flops on. We were there for about two hours and then we went back to the center. I got back and then said bye to Blake.

“Bye Blake,” I said as he kissed me on the forehead.  

“Bye cupcake,” he said walking away.

2 WEEKS LATER 

I was leaving. I wanted to be happy, but I was going to miss him so much, but I wanted to go home. I broke a rule one more time.

“Bye Blake, I am going to miss you so much,” I said between cries.

“Listen to me, I am going to be out of here in 2 weeks hopefully,” he said.

“I know,” I said still crying.

“You stay strong. You have to stay strong for your mom, me and everyone else here,” he said.

“I will and I will see you here in two weeks baby,” I said. I gave him one more kiss. I went back into my room and mom was waiting.

“You ready to go,” she asked.

“Yeah,” I said. We walked out to the park. Mom covered my eyes.

“What are you doing,” I asked. I felt arms wrap around me.

“Hey,” I heard Maddie say.

“Hey Mads,” I said. I climbed in the car.

“What are we doing today, its only 9 in the morning,” I said.

“Well how about some shopping,” she asked.

“Can I go,” Maddie asked. 

“Are you crazy, umm you live with me. Am I going to leave you in a trash can at my house,” Demi asked. I laughed so hard. 

“I missed that laugh,” Demi said.

“I missed your laugh and smile too mom,” I answered. We went to the mall. We walked in and mom had glasses and a hat on.

“Okay, this might be premature, but I am giving you your phone on one condition. You have to talk to me whenever you have any urges,” she said.

 “Okay,” I whined. She got out my phone and gave it to me. I had like 25 texts from Audrey and 10 missed calls. I called her back.

 “Where have you been,” she screamed.

“I promise, I will talk to you after I get home, but I will explain everything,” I said.

“Okay,” she said. I hung up and went into forever21. I got some dresses, shoes, accessories and we went all out in shopping. We were done 5 hours later and nobody spotted mom. We hauled all the clothes in and then changed. I took a shower and then so did everyone else. We all layed in moms bed and then fell asleep.
