Karoline POV

It was my day to spend with Demi. I am getting ready and Demi hasn't even gotten up yet. I am almost always ready first. I just lightly curled my hair and did light makeup. I sat on my bed and logged onto twitter, I haven't been on in forever. I went through my mentions. There were so many. It was about Demi leaving me behind with Sky.

'Demi shouldn't have left her alone with Sky, she might as well have killed her own daughter'

That is the only one I had to see, I put my phone down and went downstairs.

"I saw what happened," I said going into the fridge.

"On twitter," Marissa asked.

"Yeah," Marissa sighed as I answered her questions.

"Are you okay," she asked.

"Yeah, I don't really understand, but its okay, I guess, I mean I love her, so why would I kill her," I asked.

"I don't know, but we all know that you won't and I am here, so I don't think you would kill her while I am here," Marissa laughed.

"I wouldn't kill her regardless," I laughed.

"I know, but still, let's not get ideas," she said sarcastically.

"Okay," I laughed.

"Are you ready to spend the day with Demi," she asked.

"Yeah, I miss her," I smiled.

"I know, but she has to work," Marissa pointed out.

"I know, but still, the struggle," I laughed.

"Umm, okay, you ready? Your mom is out getting donuts," Marissa said.

"What I thought she was still sleeping," I said.

"No, she told me that she is going to be a better mom. I think that means waking up earlier when she is here," Marissa said.

"She told me that too," I said.

"I'm here," I heard Demi announce to the house.

"We know," I laughed.

"Alright, grab a donut and lets go," Demi said. I felt my phone buzz. It was Shay.

Shay: Hey.

Karoline: Are you okay?

Shay: idk me and my dad somehow got in awake are convo and I think hes mad at me

Karoline:?

Karoline: that didn't make sense to me sorry

Shay: ok

Karoline: umm okay

Shay: ok

Karoline: whatever

Shay: ok

Karoline: mmk I am almost done with this convo

Shay: ok

Karoline: mmk

Karoline: I feel like I insulted you

Shay: so you insulted me?

Karoline: no I felt like I did... I didn't... if I did I didn't mean too.
