Ch.64

DEMI POV



I have to get Karoline up; she got like 4 hours of sleep, if not less. I got even less thank that because I was stupid and talked to Mar for another two hours. Sky woke us up, so I am up for the day. I have energy drinks.



"Karoline get up, you have school," I said. She didn't even budge.



"Come on, it was your fault that you stayed up that late. Come on everyone up," I said. Maddie didn't move either.



"Alright girls, Maddie I will get mom over here and Karoline I will pour water over your head," I said. I laughed, but there was still nothing.



"I was up later than you were, come on, get up," I said.



"Uhh mom, get out," she screamed and threw a pillow. I threw it back at her. I went and sat on her, maybe this will get her up.



"Get off of me, mom, I am tired," she begged.



"Nope, get up," I smiled. She sat up. I smiled, I won, I got her up. I'm a great mother.



"Maddie, I will sit on you, come on get up," I laughed, she was next to Kar, I don't know how she slept through that. She didn't budge, I sat on her and she laughed.



"Damn, I thought you would just leave me," she laughed.



"Both of you up, I have places to be and so do you two," I said. I left and went downstairs.



Karoline POV



I got up and went to my bathroom. I got new face wash the other day and it was amazing. I washed my face and then put my hair up into a bun; I didn't have time to mess with it. I did my makeup; it was light and didn't have a lot to it. I put on teal skinny jeans, a beige and white striped top, a white jacket, a teal necklace, and to finish it off beige heels. I was ready and Maddie was waiting.



"You are so lucky, you just get to wear sweats," I said.



"No, you are lucky. I am really busy," she laughed.



"I am busy too," I laughed. We walked downstairs and I grabbed an apple. I was supposed to be taking Maddie home before I went to school, although it was on the way there it would take longer.



"No, more than that," mom said.



"Seriously, I am busy," I said.



"I talked to Marissa, you weren't hungry last night either," she said.



"No you don't get it, I really am not hungry," I said.



"Karoline," she warned.



"Demetria," I went straight back, I don't get called by my full name very much. I don't like it very much when I do.



"Here, just promise me you will eat lunch," she said handing me my phone. I forgot I left it down here.



"I promise," I laughed. This afternoon I was changing my hair color. Demi doesn't know that yet, but it's okay, I can't be in too much trouble.



~~Detention~~



I walked in and it was only Shay and I today.



"You know I don't hate you," Shay said. There weren't usually teachers in our detentions.



"Shh," the teacher that was in here said. I sat down in front of here. The bell rang for detention and the teacher looked up.



"Okay, you two, I have to go to a conference. You can leave when it is time, I might be back in here. Do not leave before that time, do you understand," she warned.



"Yeah," Shay said.



"Yes ma'am," I smiled. She left and I turned to Shay.



"I don't have you either, but we all know how I feel about bullies. My mom is against it and that mean that since I was there with her, I have been to. I used to get severely bullied and it's not okay. I can't be around people who bully," I told her.



"You know, you never got my side of the story," she said. That was true.



"Look everyone thinks I'm this big bully. I mean I am bitter and mean, but I would never hit anyone. I did say something about her scholarship. I asked her how it worked, I was curious. I have a friend that doesn't go here. I wasn't always able to afford big things; I used to be a regular middle class person. Anyways, this person wanted to come here and I was just wondered. Savannah said 'what, did you become poor or are you just trying to pick on me for being a scholarship student. You have no business and you're a bitch.' I slapped her, because I was being nice and she pulled that, I was trying to get her to apologize and that is when you walked in. I told you to chill and you didn't and now we're here," she finished.



"I am so sorry. I didn't know that is what was happening. I just don't like bullies, are we cool," I asked her.



"Of course, we were friends before right," she asked. I laughed and nodded.



"I hate it in here," I said.



"Have you never been in detention before," she asked.



"Not recently," I laughed.



"That teacher won't be back in here. I stay in here the full time just in case, but I usually am on my phone," she giggled.



"I am getting my hair done after school, I am dying it and getting it highlighted," I said.



"That is cool, I mean your mom does that a lot," she laughed. I rolled my eyes.



"I haven't told her yet, hopefully she likes it," I smiled



"What are you dying it," she asked.



"I am dying it all my original color, dark brown. I am getting highlighted red and blonde," I said.



"That is cool, and your mom won't care," she asked. I shook my head.



"Not that I know of," I laughed.



"You are so lucky, my mom would freak," she said.



"Well, let's hope my mom doesn't," I laughed.



"Can I come with you," she asked.



"Yeah, do you have a car," I asked.



"No," she said.



"Can I see you phone," I asked. I put my number in there and then as soon as time was up we left.



"Let me tell my driver that I am going with you," she told me. I walked to my car and put on music.



"Alright, we are good to go," she said. I got to the hair place and they immeadialty took me; I already had an appointment booked.



I came out of the hair place and I love my hair, I also got an inch off. It was different, but I liked it. It isn't anything like Maddie's or Demi's, but I liked it a lot. Shay and I decided that she was coming back to my house for dinner and to hang out for a while.



"Wow, this was not what I was expecting," she said.



"What were you expecting," I asked.



"A really big house," she said.



"I mean it isn't as big as my old house, but this is my home and it is big enough for my family. I also have had a whole other family stay here, so I like it," I smiled.



"No, I like it, its cozy, I mean but your mom is Demi Lovato," she said. I nodded.



"Come on let's go to the kitchen and see who is here today," I said.



"Wait, different people are here every day," she asked.



"Sort of, my mom works schedule is busy, so my aunts and grandparents have to pick up my little sister sometimes," I said.



"That is really cool that your family is that close to you," she said.



"Yeah, we are really close," I smiled. I walked in and it was Dallas.



"Hey Dal," I said.



"Hey girly," she smiled. She didn't notice my hair that is weird.



"You mom is going to be home around 7, and I am instructed if she is home any later that you are to be in bed by 11," she said.



"Yeah, it's okay, Shay and I are going to my room," I said.



"Are you allowed to have friends over," she asked.



"Yeah," I smiled



"I am supposed to bring you a snack. It will be up there in a minute," she said. I internally sigh. I am tired of food. Food is old and I mean, I am not going back, but they don't trust me. That is what is getting old, I guess.



"What's up with she is supposed to bring food," Shay asked once we were in my room.



"My mom doesn't trust me to eat," I said.



"That sucks," she laughed awkwardly.



I heard Demi come in before she was supposed to be here. She knocked on my door.



She looked at me really weird.



"Okay, one why is Shay here, and two what is going on with your hair," she asked.



"Shay is here because she is my friend and I died my hair after school," I smiled.



"I thought you didn't like her," she asked.



"No, I just misunderstood her," I looked down.



"Your hair, now, why," she asked.



"Why do you die your hair so much," I asked.



"Don't," she said.



"Don't what," I asked.



"Start this, it is uncalled for," She said. I laughed and she left.



"I am going to get going, my driver is here," she said and looked up from her phone. I walked her to the door and waved goodbye.

A/n- you guys reached an early update! Thanks for commenting and voting. I also met my goal, I am working on writing thank you notes to you guys. I couldn't today because I just got done with homework. Hope you guys enjoyed and it made sense because honestly I wrote this almost two weeks ago.
