"Shit" Darren pouted. You laugh and put your fingers through his curly hair as he puts his face closer to your belly.

"Hey baby" he says, kissing the swollen "It's Daddy here! I need to have a cheesy conversation with you... Because you will notice that Daddy is the cheesiest with people he loves... And Daddy loves you more than anything". You grinned and say "Why are talking about yourself at the third person?" "Shhh! It's for the baby!" he answers with his eyes wide opened. You roll your eyes, smile and let him talk to your belly. "I can't wait to see if you have curly hair like me or if you have the same eyes as Mommy... Or both... Buddy can you- I mean, you could be a princess too- can you give me a hint? If you are a curly kind of person, high five me" Darren says. "Darling how could the baby do that?" you laugh. "I just really want to know! I can't wait 3 months!" he grinned. "There's no way he or she could an-" you were cut by a pain in your belly. The baby was kicking. It wasn't a hard kick, so it didn't really hurt you. "OH MY FUCKING GOD" Darren screams.

You laugh and look at Darren, looking like a kid with his new toy. "I HIGH FIVED MY UNBORN BABY!" he yells. You laugh at your goofy husband. You never saw him so happy before. It was the first time Darren felt your baby kick. It was such a special moment for you. "I swear if this baby comes out with curly black hair, it will mean that I found a way to communicate with unborn babies" he said, grinning. "I knew you were a born-to-be scientist" you laugh. He laughs and lays besides you, without being able to stop grinning. "I just love you so much" he suddenly say. You grin and say "I love you too Dare" before kissing him.
