Imagine. You and Darren were in your vacation house with your parents. You two have been dating for a while now, but somehow, you never took him there. It was a very special place for you. It's where you grew up, where you learned how to ride a bike, where you laugh and cry. This place was a part of your life and you were excited to finally got to show this part to Darren. "Oh man that place is awesome!" Darren exclaims as he looked around the garden. "Yeah, right? I love this place" you smile. "It's so peaceful..." Darren said quietly as he looked at the mountains far away. "Daddy! Darren and I are going for a walk!" you scream in the house. "Are we?" Darren asks as he frowns, but still looked excited. "Ok, have fun you two!" your dad screamed back.

You took Darren's hand and lead him out of the house. You two walked into the forest that was surrounding the village, hand in hand. You talked about your memories, how you were scared of this forest when you were a kid and that you end up spending all your day, and sometimes night, in the forest. He listened to every one of your stories carefully and all smiling as you let him discover another part of you. As you two walked past a field, Darren stopped you and gasps, fascinated. You frown and chuckles at his cute kiddo face as he says "Oh my wizard god".

You giggle and ask "What?" "Can't you see it?" Darren asks, amazed. You look at the empty field confused, and look back at Darren "Uhm...no...". "Oh come on! Really?" he said with a grin on his face. You just kept looking at him with a confused face, but still amused. "Do you have a elastic? For hair?" Darren asks. "Uhm...yeah" you say as you gave him the elastic from your wrist, even more confused. You saw Darren tried to put back his hair in a ponytail. You laugh as you saw him trying so hard to make that little ponytail. "What the fuck are you doing?" you say between the giggles. "You'll see!" he says as he went to the field.You stayed on the path. He looked for something on the ground and when he finally found it, he exclaims "Ha!". He stood there, in the middle of the field, his hair on a little ponytail and a big woodstick in his hands. "This looks exactly like the field from Mulan!" he screams, super excited. You burst out laughing. Could this man really be 28? You looked at him with a huge smile as he started to sing "Let's get back to business, to defend the horns!". He did his best to imitate the ninja moves from the movie with the stick. You couldn't stop laughing. "Mister, I'll make a man out of you!" he kept singing. When Darren finished, he came back to you and kissed you.

"I'm really disappointed that you never realized this before" Darren said, trying to hide a smile. "That's not my fault. I was not hanging out with a 5 year old at the time" you joke. "Hey! I'm 4, not 5! Please, respect" he said, trying to sound mad. You laugh and hug him tightly. How can you not love him? You both went back to walking as Darren said "That place is so great! I could totally live here". "Yeah, I don't know, maybe when we're older" you say, naturally. You suddenly felt ashamed. Did you say that out loud? Just pretend like you never said that, he will freak out, you thought. "Oh...so... You already considered growing old with me?" he asks with a smirk. You needed to stay calm and what a better way than joking about this. "No, not at all. I mean, you're such a bad boyfriend, why would I consider that?" you shrug as if it was the most stupid thing. Darren stopped you and faced you. "Well, that's cool because you're such a awful girlfriend that I never considered, myself, marrying you or having children with you" he said, very sacarstically. You looked into each others eyes and smirked. Quickly, those smirks turned into huge grins. "So...maybe we could pretend we're not awful people and I could love you like Aladdin loves Jasmine and you could love me like Ariel loves Eric" he said softly, looking deeply into your eyes.

Only him could make you feel those tickles into your stomach every time. You smile widely and say "One more Disney reference and you've got me". Darren giggles and says "Will you be my Mulan if I was your Shang?". His eyes were shining bright, with love for you. "I will" you whispered with teary eyes. He grins and puts his hand on your cheek to deliver a sweet kiss on your lips. "I hate you, so much" he jokes in front of your lips. You chuckle and say back "I hate you too".
