Her First Laugh

Imagine. You were cleaning around the house when you heard your husband coming home. "Hi!" he said from the hallway. "Hey" you smiled as he appeared before you. He looked tired but still had that smile, as if he could conquered the world, no matter how exhausted he actually was. He pecked your lips and took you in his arms to hug you. "How was your day?" he asked. "Good. We just went for a walk because I couldn't get her to sleep but it went great for the most part" you explained. "Great" he said as he pecked your lips. "Where's my princess?" he asked as he put his belongings away. "In her bouncer in the living room. I had to put your ep on because she missed Daddy too much" you pout. "Shut up. That's so cute" he grinned.

He walked quickly to the living room to see his daughter playing in her bouncer. "Hello sunshine" he said as he took the 4 month old baby into his arms. "I missed you so much today" he explained to the cooing baby. He kissed her head several times before sitting on the couch. He put her over his forearms and put her head into his hands. Sami was smiling at him. "Daddy made out with uncle Chris today. I mean, it's not really Daddy. It's Blaine who made out with Kurt in the middle of the courtyard" Darren said to the little girl. She moved her arms around and kicked her feet. "I know that's weird, but it's Glee so it's okay" he argued. "Apparently Kurt has a whole band following him around everywhere" he smiled. Sami giggled a little. "You're so cute. Do you think Daddy should have a band following him around, ready to sing a Beatles song anytime too?" he asked. This time, Sami laughed. Like a real cute little laugh. "Oh my god" Darren chuckled.

"Did she just actually laughed?" you asked as you ran into the living room. "That's the cutest thing I've ever heard" Darren grinned. "What did you do?" you asked, amazed. "I don't know. I talked about Kurt and Blaine. Apparently that's quite funny" he answered. "Go on! Go on!" you said excitedly and sat next to him on the couch. "Oh and you remember that time Kurt said that Finn and Rachel couldn't get married because they were too young? Well he agreed to marry Blaine at the same age" Darren explained. Once more, the little girl laughed. "Ok you love Daddy making fun of Klaine. That's your thing" you grinned. Sami cooed and smiled widely at you. "Yeah it is" you said in your best baby voice. You both admired your daughter as the only sound heard in the room were her little noises.

"I'm so proud to say she's a part of you and me" he suddenly said. You smiled. "I'm so proud to say we manage to make her this perfect" you answered. Darren smiled and kissed you. "I love you" he whispered against your lips. "Love you too" you said before kissing him again. You pulled apart and put your head on his shoulder as you both look at the little girl made out of your love.
