Sunburns

Imagine coming back home after a day at the beach. You walk into your house and slowly walk towards the living room. "Hi babe!" Darren says, turning towards you from the couch. "Why are you walking like that?" he frowns. You turned around to show him your back and the back of your legs. "Oh man" he exclaims. You had huge sunburns. "Didn't you put sunscreen on?" he says as he walk to you. "I did but not enough...I guess" you answer. "It hurts too much" you pout. "Just stay here, I know what you need" he exclaims as he runs to the bathroom.

A few minutes later, Darren asked for you to meet him in the bathroom. You went there as fast as you could, hating yourself for being so stupid. When you step into the bathroom, you see that Darren made you a bath with bubbles. "Aw Dare. That's so cute and nice, thank you" you say as you come closer to him. You kissed him and you saw he was about to hold you. You took his wrists before he could do it. "Don't do that" you say with wide eyes as you pull away. Darren giggles, "Sorry". Darren helped you getting stripped, the feeling of the clothes on your burns were awful, so painful. He helped you get into the bath and sat besides the bathtub on a towel.

"That's so cold!" you say as you put your arms around your body. "That's good for the sunburns" your boyfriend explained. Within a few minutes you were chattering teeth. "I feel like we're in Titanic" Darren chuckles. "And I'm Jack?" you manage to ask. "Yeah! I'm Rose, trying desperately not to lose the love of my life into that cold water" he says as he leans on the armrest of the bathtub. "Except you put me deliberately into the cold water and you're not in it" you joke. "And that I can't disappear into a bathtub" you add. Darren giggles and says "You won't go very far". You laugh and look at him lovingly before pecking his lips.

After a few minutes in the bath, you started to shake and chatter your teeth harder. "Tell me about your day" Darren said, trying to divert your attention. "I went to the beach with the girls and I took "Shining" because I really wanted to read it" you manage to say slowly with a weird voice. You saw Darren trying not to laugh and you warn him "Dont you dare laughing at me". He chuckles quietly and says "I won't" with a smile on his face. "I didn't see the time and I stayed more than 2 hours laying on my belly so my skin didn't appreciate it" you continue. "I can see that" he add. You rambled about your day 'til Darren decided you could go out of the cold bath.

He put some aloe vera on you to relieve you. "You're so hot" he said with a low voice as he put cream on your burned back. "Oh, shut up" you giggle. You heard him laughing with his precious laugh. He took care of you all night long and the days after that, being very careful not to hurt you.
