 Imagine. Darren was on set for Glee, but somehow, he couldn't focus. He was supposed to shoot a scene with the New Directions, Jane and Matt in the auditorium. The crew got everything ready, and everyone was reading their scripts or having their friend time while Darren did not feel like it. He sat on the steps and try to think. Urgh, that thing have been bothering him for days now. When he looked around him, trying to find someone to talk to, his eyes found Jane. She was wearing her usual costume but she was wearing something Sue Sylvester never wears. A smile. Jane has always been a good friend of Darren, so nice and funny. Maybe she could help. When she finished talking with a crew member, Darren took advantage to run to her.

"Jane, wait up!" he screams to her. She turns around and greets back "Hey buddy! What's going on?". He breaths out and started to ramble "I need you. I mean not you you but your advice and I really need them right now and I don't know I thought that maybe you c-" "Ok stop rambling, let's go sit" Jane said with an amused smile. She and Darren went to sit into the auditorium seats. Jane put her script on her lap and turned to Darren. "So. What's the deal?" she asked. "Well uhm...Y/n and I are going to celebrate our third anniversary next week" Darren said nervously. "Hey kid that's awesome! And obviously you have no idea what to do, so you came to see Auntie Jany so she could help you out with this shit" Jane supposed. Darren nodded slowly with a confused face. "How did you know?" He asked. She shrugged and said "Just a guess". Darren giggled as Jane continues "You should do something romantic. 3 years is not nothing after all! What did you had in mind?". "I don't know uhm...I thought about maybe taking her out for dinner and buy her a gift, I don't know..." Darren said as he shrugged.

"I would do something even more romantic like taking her to a special place of yours. You don't have to take her out to a fancy restaurant I mean I don't know her very well but she doesn't seem like the kind of girl who you have to show your love with money" Jane guessed. "No she's definitely not" Darren giggled. "Just take her to your special place and make something romantic like a picnic with champagne and roses on the blanket. And just tell her how you feel, because girls love to hear those kind of things!" she explains. Darren chuckles and kept listening to her. "That would be special I'm sure. But do not do the 'romantic movie' thing where the guy takes his girl out and that's it. That's great for the first year or the second, but you need to change the plans" "Ok, uhm, thanks Jane! You actually helped me a lot" Darren said with a smile. "Nothing to thank for!" she said as she stands up and pat his shoulder. "Anytime!" she said as she left. Darren giggled and smiled. Now he had the perfect idea. The next week, you had now a beautiful engagement ring on your left hand. Changing plans was good, after all.
