Imagine. You had only been home for five minutes, and your kids were already following you around with their requests. "Mommy! Mommy!" your son jumped around. "We saw puppies at school today!" he beamed. "Mommy! Mommy!" your daughter said right after. "Why did you and Daddy only have two children?" she asked. Wow, intense come back. "Mommy, can we have a puppy?" Kyle asked. "Mommy, can I have a sister?" Sami asked. They were both screaming their requests at you and trying to get your attention. Your husband came to join you and added another voice to the already tiring conversation. "Hey honey, can I-" "Ok stop!" you screamed to make them stop interrupting each other. That worked. You breathed out and bent at your son's height. "Baby, we can't have a puppy" you said, sadly. He pouted and looked down. You lift up his chin and explained "A puppy is a living thing. And Daddy and I are too busy to take care of one right now, ok? Plus, your Dad is allergic". You kissed his cheek and moved to face your daughter. "Sam, same speech, but with babies" you said before kissing her cheek in turn. "Is Daddy allergic to babies?" she frowned. You then turned to your husband, who apparently had no clue what was going on. "And you... what do you want?" you couldn't remember. "I just wanted a kiss" he pouted. Your face lit up with a grin as you put your arms around his neck. You felt his around your waist and put your lips against his lovingly. "Ew" you heard your kids saying. Both of you grinned onto the kiss. Sami and Kyle eventually went to play, as you and your husband still stood there, cuddling each other after a long day.
