Imagine. You put your daughter in her car seat. She was full of tears after her doctor appointment because of the shots they gave her. She hadn't stop crying since they finished, and all your tries to make her stop were not successful. "Wanna see Daddy!" The 3 year old said between sobs. "Daddy's working baby" you replied sadly while petting her face. She cried even more at the statement. You sighed. Sometimes he was the only one who was able to calm her down, and as cute as it was, it wasn't always convenient. You took out your phone and called your husband. Maybe if Sami was able to talk to him, she would calm down until he got back. "Hey babe, what's up?" he answered. He knew something was up; you won't call while he was filming if nothing was. "Wanna see Daddy!" Sami cried again on the background. You pouted, "That's what's up". "What's going on? Is she okay?" Darren panicked. "She's fine, but she went to the doctor and got s-h-o-t-s" you spelled. "Oh" your husband understood. "And now she wants to see you. I'll just give her the phone so you can talk to her for a few minutes. I don't wanna disturb you" you almost apologized. "Babe, it's okay. You both can come here" Darren exclaimed. You argued back "I-" "Honey, I wanna make sure you're both okay. Please come. I promise you won't disturb anything" he cut you off. You sighed, "Okay". "Good! Love you" he said before hanging up. Sami was still full sobs when you got back to her. You took out the sucker they gave to her after the appointment and opened it. "We're gonna go see Daddy, ok?" you informed her. She smiled and sniffed. She took the sucker eagerly. You chuckled. "But you don't need to be sad, okay? It's over now" you tried to make her understand. She nodded and you kissed her cheek before closing the door to drive there.

You arrived at the location pretty quickly.He was shooting one of his music video today, and even if he was kind of the boss, you still felt bad about making everyone stop. As soon as Darren approached his daughter, she bursted out crying again and ran into his arms. He kneeled to catch her and pouted. "Baby, are you okay?" he asked. "Nooo" Sami sobbed. "Aw, what happened?" he rocked her a little. She pulled away to look at him. Her little puffy eyes and the tears running down her cheeks broke his heart. "Got shots. It hurt" she managed to say while motioning to her shoulder. "Were you super brave like a superhero?" Darren asked with a smile. Sami nodded, "With big muscles" she added and showed her little flexed arm to him. Darren giggled and kissed her cheek. "The doctor just wanted to make sure you're okay Princess" he explained. The little girl put her head on her father's shoulder and seemed to slowly calm down. He looked at you and walked to you. "You okay?" he asked with a worried tone. "I hate to see her like that" you admitted. He pulled you closer and kissed you gently. "Everything's okay now" he whispered against your lips. You put your forehead against his and breathed out. You spent the rest of the day hanging out on the set until Darren was done filming.
