Imagine. You just finished working on some homework and you were so bored. Everyone left to go to a party and you were completely alone in the big Michigan house. You opened the door of your room and frowned. Did they leave the tv on? You walked to the living room to see the back of your crush and best friend (I know I shouldn't, you scolded yourself), Darren. You smiled to yourself and walked to him before playfully hitting his head.
"What are you doing here? I thought everyone had left" you exclaimed. He looked up at you and grinned, "Nope, I didn't either". "Why's that?" you asked. "I... didn't feel like it" he said as he looked away. You nodded and looked at the tv before Darren turned it off. "Ok, what are we doing?" he said excitely as he turned to you. "I don't know" you shrugged. "We should do a drinking game, just you and me" he suggested as he pointed at the coffee table. "Sounds like fun" you grinned. You two put all you needed on the coffee table: shot glasses, vodka... "Here take that. Your butt will thank me later" Darren said and threw a pillow at you. "Wanky" you said between giggles. "Fuck off" he said with a grin. You didn't know if you invented the blush on his face or not, but either way he was very cute.
"We should do Never Have I Ever" you proposed. "Yes!" he said and poured vodka in both of the shot glasses. After a little Rock, Paper, Scissors competition to know who will start first, he ended up starting. "Ok let's start nicely... Never Have I Ever... Dyed my hair" he rose his eyebrows innoncently and lift up his glass. "Really? Where?" you asked. "Gay Pride, San Francisco, color bomb" he explained and twisted his arms with yours. "On 3" he smiled. "One, two, three" and both of you took your shot. The alcohol burned your throat but you shook it off. "Ok my turn. Never Have I Ever made out with a girl" you said with a smirk. "You're not playing fair" he grinned. "That's literally the number one rule of this game" you claimed. With his charming smile, he shook his head a little and drank his glass all at once. "Never Have I Ever dated a guy named Ryan" he said with a cocky tone. You laughed, "You bastard". "That's the game! Drink, drink, drink!" he sang.
You drank one, two, three, four shots. And then you stopped counting. "Never Have I Ever... been hungry" Darren said. His voice was way less focused and way more drunk than an hour before. "Dare, I think you're slowly forgetting the rules of this game" you exclaimed and filled the glasses. "Cheers!" he said and clang his glass with yours before drinking it. "I'm hungry though" he informed once he finished. He got up and walked to the kitchen, staggering on his way. "PIZZA!" he yelled through the empty house. You put your face on the bare coffee table and waited for him to come back. "Here" he said as he put a slice of pizza in front of your face, "Feed yourself". You watched him devoring his slice as if he hadn't had any food for ages. "It's cold" you crunched your face once you noticed. "Is it cold? Yes. Do I care? Nope" he said with his mouth full. You shrugged and decided that pizza, even cold, was still pizza, and your hungry belly will gladly accept it anyway.
You two finished the leftovers and after a few minutes of complete silence, Darren poured two drinks again. "Urgh, Dare I'm gonna puke on your face if we keep going" you informed him. "Just one last, come on, do it with me" he encouraged you. You took a deep breath and finally nodded. You sat straight and took your shot glass. "Never Have I Ever..." Darren started and looked right into your eyes, "...had a crush on you". You felt a smirk growing on your face, similar to the one Darren wore at the moment. You drank your shot quickly and looked back at him. The smile was threatening your face once more, but you tried not to be too explicit. He grinned at your move and drank his too. You could feel yourself blushing to the neck. "Well, at least now it's official!" he said and put his hands on the table. "That I won the game or that you have a crush on me?" you smiled. "Both, I guess" he tilted his head and giggled.
The door opened and a bunch of best friends came in. "Wow, smells like alcohol in here" Joe said with a crunched face. "GUUUUUYS" Darren said and got up on his feet. "I missed you soooooo much!" he exclaimed and hugged Meredith. "Oh boy, you're so drunk" she chuckled and patted his back. "Are you okay?" Joey asked you. "Yeah, just drunk!" you answered happily. "Anyway it's late, let's put them to bed" Joe suggested. "Team work! Mere and I have y/n, while you and Brian have Darren. The others already left for bed" he looked around and shook his head, "Thanks for the help guys!" Joey screamed.
Brian and Joe both got on Darren's side to support him while Joey lifted you up to put you over his shoulder. "I feel like a potato bag" you exclaimed and let your arms hang into the emptiness. "You make a very pretty potato bag, ya know?" Darren said flirtatiously as the guys made you both go upstairs. You laughed foolishly. "Richter, is it okay if I puke on you?" you asked sincerely. "No" he said right away. "No fun" you sighed. "Hey Walker! I said it! I said I liked her!" He pratically screamed in Joe's ear. "That's awesome Darren. About time" his best friend replied. "Ok time for bed" Brian stated as he opened the door of one of the bedrooms. "Goodnight Daisy!" you shouted and hugged Joey's torso. "Goodnight beautiful! I love you!!" he screamed. Joe and Brian both turned their heads at the loud sound coming out of their friend's mouth that was hurting their ears. "I love you too!" you answered and closed your eyes. Meredith giggled and exclaimed "What a romantic drunk story".
