Imagine. You had to leave your husband and 7 month old daughter for a few days for work. You were really excited to get back home. Being away from them was the most heartbreaking thing for you. "Have a good evening, miss" your cab driver said to you as he took out your luggage from the trunk and handed it to you. "Thanks. Have a good evening too" you smile and walk to your house.

You opened your door and suddenly your ears filled with baby cries. Your heart broke a little hearing your daughter cry. You put your luggage in the living room and took off your coat, putting it against the arm of the couch. Darren came up behind you quietly and hugged you from behind. "Hey" he whispered in your ear. You smile and put your hands on his arms. "Hi" you turn into his arms. He looked tired, but happy to see you. "I've missed you" he said and kissed your cheek. "I've missed you too" you kept smiling and softly kissing his lips. "I'm sorry about the mess" Darren apologizes before looking around. "Like you can probably hear, Sami has some trouble sleeping tonight so yeah... That's... Kind of chaotic right now" he chuckles. "That's okay" you kiss his lips once more. "What's going on with Sam?" you ask. "I don't know... She's sleeping when she's in my arms but everytime I put her back on the crib, she wakes up and started crying" he explains. "She has been doing that for hours" he adds. "That's weird. She's never had trouble sleeping in her crib before" you frown. "Uh yeah, yeah that's...weird" Darren stuttered.

He pulled back and started to clean up some items. Now you knew something was up. "Darren, what did you do?" you crossed your arms over your chest. "Nothing. W-Why you're asking?" he responded. "Darren. You're cleaning" you point. He stopped what he was doing and sighed. He threw the things he hand in his hand on the couch and rubbed the back of his head. "I may or may not let her sleep in our bed with me while you were gone" Darren admits. "Darren..." you sighed.

He walked to you and started to explain. "I know. I know. I shouldn't have. But she was missing you and I was missing you and I put pillows around her so she wouldn't fall from the bed and that was just nice to see her cute face and-" "Take off your shirt" you cut him off. Darren looked confused. "I'm not sure I can have angry sex right now" he said seriously. You giggle, "Me neither. Come on, give me your shirt". Darren shot his eyebrows in misunderstanding but took off his shirt anyway. He gave it to you and you leaned on him to give him a kiss and walked to the nursery, leaving a confused husband in the living room.

You opened the door and the cries slowly disappeared. You let the door open to bring a little light in the room and walked to the crib. "Hey baby" you smile. You leaned on the crib and pet her face slowly. "Did you have fun with Daddy?" you ask. The little girl cooted which made you chuckle. "Seems like it" you smile. You gave Darren's shirt to Sami and kissed her head. "Time to sleep now" you whisper. "I love you". You smile and slowly went out of the room.

"You're a genius" Darren smirked and walked to you. "Pretty sure I'm not. I'm just less tired than you so my brain is still working" you joke. Darren laughed and took you in his arms. "I just wanna sleep" he groans on your shoulder. "Let's go then, sleepy head" you smile. You head in your room and ended up cuddling and talking until he fell asleep, whispering something you have been missing for days; "I love you"
