"Koutarou, I know I said I'd do anything for our anniversary, but this is taking it too far," you stated as your husband helped you into your skydiving gear, "Like, I was thinking romantic dinner, not falling out of the damn sky."

Bokuto patted your shoulder gently as your quivering hands fixed your (h/l) (h/c) hair. "But you've always told me that you've wanted to know what it's like to fly!" he explained, "So I thought this would be perfect for our anniversary!"

You put your face in your hands and groaned loudly over the sound of the plane's engines. "I love you, but you're going to kill me."

Ever since Bokuto had started working with a skydiving company, he'd been over the moon with happiness. Falling out of the sky was a favorite thing of his since it made him feel like he was truly flying, so being able to skydive for a living was his dream job. You, on the other hand, preferred to stay on the ground and dream of flying, but now that your husband was going to make your dream come true, you were starting to regret having said anything.

"You'll be fine, (f/n)! I'll be right with you the whole time and I'm a professional!" he tried to assure you as he sported a bright smile, "I even got us a special parachute too! It's gonna be great!" He planted a kiss on your lips and gave you a hug before grabbing one of the backpacks in the plane and working on strapping the two of you together. The entire time he spent focusing on preparing for the dive you spent hoping you'd survive.

Once the plane had reached the desired altitude, another one of Bokuto's coworkers opened the exit and checked to make sure that everything was in place before gesturing for you to jump out of the plane. Your legs wouldn't move and your feet felt glued to the floor, so Bokuto picked you up and carried you over to the exit, standing right on the edge.

"Hold my hands," he told you and opened them so that you could place your own inside of his and grip onto them as tightly as you could. "And now—"

"Koutarou!"

"Let's go!"

With that, he leapt out of the plane, sending the two of you plummeting back down towards the earth.

"Prepare for landing! Lift your knees, (f/n)!"

"Oh god..."

You didn't know if you'd be able to feel your legs, but you soon found out once your feet touched the ground and you stood for a few seconds before falling over and almost completely face planting in the grass. Your husband tumbled down beside you and the parachute soon floated down on top of the two of you.

"Babe, I told you what to do before we jumped," Bokuto grumbled softly as he rubbed his head, running his hand through his feathery white and black hair.

"I don't remember anything that happened before we jumped, obviously. That's what stress does to you," you responded sternly and rolled over so that he could unstrap you from himself and take his equipment off. You ripped off your goggles and tossed them to the side as you laid on your back and tried to regain your breath and sanity.

That experience had been one of the most terrifying ones in your life, but you were glad that you'd done it and hadn't let Bokuto down. If he hadn't been there with you the whole time, you probably would've gone crazy. Now, as you both sat in a random field in the middle of nowhere, your heart continued to race as if you were still falling out of the sky.

Bokuto's face fell slightly as he removed his own goggles and watched you with concern. The way he sat cross-legged with his back hunched over slightly reminded you of a child. "You were that scared?" he asked softly. You hesitated, noticing how worried he was, but nodded honestly. He reached over towards you and pressed his hand against your neck, feeling your racing pulse.

He was quiet for a moment as he helped you unfasten your harness, and you bit your lip nervously. After a few moments, he pushed part of the heart-shaped parachute off of the two of you, and the sight that greeted you was one that made you gasp quietly.

"I picked this drop zone because it has the best view of the sunset, so I hope that makes you feel better," he told you with an uncharacteristically quiet voice.

You turned your attention from the beautiful sunset over to him, smiling slightly upon remembering that the two of you were wearing matching jump suits upon his request. He obviously thought he'd terrified you and had totally ruined your anniversary, and while the first part was true and you had been scared out of your mind, you were glad that you'd gotten to overcome a challenge with him at your side.

"Hey, hey, hey," you called to him, mimicking him teasingly, "What's with the long face, handsome?" You scooted across the grass towards him and wrapped your arms around him, pressing the side of you face into his shoulder as you looked up at him.

"I'm sorry I ruined our anniversary," he replied sadly.

You rubbed his back gently. "You didn't ruin it! I mean, I might've been scared, but I'm glad I did this with you. You put a lot of thought and effort into this, and I really enjoyed it," you told him truthfully. You then placed a hand on his face and tilted it down towards you so that you could reassure him with a kiss on his lips before he went into his emo mode.

He returned your kisses happily and wrapped his arms around you, giving you a tight and loving hug. "Did I make your dream come true?!" he asked hopefully.

"Yes...! I got to fly!" you answered with delight despite the fact that you'd probably never do this again. This made Bokuto's face light up, and he pressed kisses against your face, eliciting soft giggles from you. "But how long are we going to be here?" you wondered.

"We're gonna be here for awhile..." he answered, his golden eyes opening as his gaze drifted from your eyes down to the zipper at the top of your jump suit.

"So... what do you wanna do?"

Bokuto was quiet for a moment before responding, "You."

You squealed as he pushed you onto your back and started unzipping your jump suit. "Are you crazy?! We're in the middle of an open field!" His only reaction was to pull the parachute over the two of you again and continue to undress you. "You're ridiculous sometimes, Koutarou, but I love you," you sighed and wrapped your arms around his neck.

He grinned and leaned down towards you to kiss you lovingly. "I love you too, (f/n)," he said before pressing more kisses against your lips, "I hope you enjoyed trying something new for our anniversary."

"Well, having sex in the middle of a field is definitely a first for me."

"It might not be a last, though."

"With you as my husband I wouldn't doubt that."

"Ohoho?"

"Ohoho."

Needless to say, this anniversary was definitely more adventurous and daring than your previous ones, but you enjoyed it all the same, if not more.
