1 Month Pregnant

Blue's, pink's, yellow's and brown's.

That was all the colors that I saw at the babies store, except for the neon pink and yellow outfits that almost blinded me in the corner.

Strollers, and cribs, were all sitting above me as I pushed the cart down the aisle.

"How about this?" Callie asks, as she takes out a pretty pink dress with a poodle in the middle of the chest.

"Cute. But I don't even know if it's a girl?" I say to her.

"Of course it's a girl.."

Walking around the baby section for the 4th time today, I look down at my watch.

"Hey, you have the day off? Stop looking at your watch."

"I haven't ate, Callie. I'm a very stressed pregnant woman."

"Just one more thing?"

Going back around the aisle, She grabs a few bottles, bibs, and small stuffed animals.

"Now can we get food?" I say.

"Yes! I heard there's a really good Pizza place down the street."

"Oh, pizza sounds so good right now. Including pickles.."

"I thought you hated pickles?"

"I do."

Heading over to the checkout aisle, Callie pays for the baby bottles, and the cute unisex bibs in our cart.

"Okay, let's go eat."

Jackson's POV

Walking into the conference room, I sit beside Meredith and Owen.

"Hey, have you seen Elena?" I ask Owen.

"She has the day off."

"Since when? She's scheduled to work today."

"Since, a few days ago." He whispers.

Taking out of files, Owen gets up from his chair, and presents.

"We are coming to a very dangerous part of the year, now. As all of you should know, tourists come into town around the spring, for the fall carnival...Meaning?"

"Lot's of drunk folk." Webber whispered.

"And?"

"And..kids."

"Exactly. Which means, people most like will get hurt. I have set up an example of how the day will go on, in the cadaver lab just down stairs. When you get the chance, send your new interns to get their evaluation."

Continuing to talk about the next follow weeks, I go into a daydream. And before you know it, it was over, and I was able to go back to work.

"Jackson." April said, as I turned around to ignore her.

"Jackson?"

Running ahead of me, she stops just before the door opens.

"Why have you been ignoring me?" She asks.

"I haven't?"

Reaching behind her, I grab the door handle before pulling it open.

"Yes, you have? Ever since I want-"

"Yes. I have been ignoring you, because you choose to ignore the fact that we slept together in L.A. And You keep praying to Gandhi, to wash your holy sins away."
