"Thank you, Mike," I said, grabbing my cup of coffee.

"So, I was thinking...why not have me on your Neuro team for the Head-Transplant. I can be a great addition to the team, I've studied the labs and the scans-"

"Wait, you've what?" I blurted out, stopping Amelia from walking any further.

"What? Can't I look at your patients? We have the same last name, it's not like anyone is going to notice."

"Amelia...those labs and scans are confidential."

"Um, no they're not. Not after the head of the surgical announced it last week...the surgery starts tomorrow they should be landing in Seattle by tonight." She added.

Taking a sip of my coffee, I felt my phone vibrate from my coat pocket.

"Hey, Bailey."

'I need you to meet me in the pit.' She mumbled.

"Okay, sure, I'll be right there..."

'Not our pit...Seattle Presbyterian.'

"Seattle-"

'Don't say it out loud...and don't tell anyone you're coming. Just get here fast.'

Moving the phone away from my ear, Amelia's eyes widened as she took my coffee away from me.

"Who was that?"

"Um...a consult? Bailey wants me to check up on an old patient. Would you mind checking up on my post-ops?" I blurted out, heading out the front doors.

Striding in through the E.R. entrance, I made my way to Presbyterian's pit just as I ran into Webber, who was coming in from the other side entrance.

"Richard...what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came here to check up on a patient...you?"

"Oh, I was called in for a consult..."

"Really? For who?" He asked again as we met up at the Nurses station.

"The family waiting area is right over there-"

"Oh, no. We're doctors, we're here to see a patient." I mumbled.

"Okay, what's their name?"

Awkwardly, I glanced over at Richard, who just smiled at me quickly before resting his hands on the counter.

"Miranda Bailey." We said at the same time.

"...okay, let me check."

Looking around the pit, I noticed at stillness in the area before hearing yelling and panic just behind me.

"Code Blue!"

"What the-...That's Bailey." I blurted out, grabbing Richards arm before running over to where Bailey was standing above a patient.

Watching as monitors were beeping like crazy, nurses and doctors rushed in with a crash cart.

"She's coding. She had a broken femur, may have thrown a clot!" Bailey yelled.

"Hold on, Morgan."

"B-Fib. Charge to 120." Another doctor ordered.

"Clear!"

"Charge to 200."

Turning my head, I stepped forward and watched Morgan's heart rate start back up.

"We got her back."
