3 MONTHS LATER

"Okay, now suck it in," I say to Meredith.

We were at a local bridal shop trying on dresses for April's wedding which was in a few months time.

"Elena, it's not going to fit?"

"Suck it in Grey!"

Zipping up her dress I hurry and tie the ribbon around her waist.

"Elena, I can't breathe!"

"Beauty is pain, Mer."

"I don't do beauty! I do surgery!" She gasps.

Hearing the curtains open behind me, Cristina walks inside wearing an entirely different dress than us.

"What happened to you?" I say as I turned around.

"April Kepner happened to me...this dress is horrible.."

Picking up her purple skirt, she struggles to find the cushion of the chair as falls on the ground.

"Hahaha!"

"That's just great..."

"Are you guys ready yet?" April yells from outside.

"Yeah?"

Helping Cristina up on her feet, we straighten out the dresses before walking out in a straight line.

"Oh! They look beautiful!" She yells, holding her hands close to her chest.

"Really?" Cristina whispers but I nudge her so that April doesn't notice.

"But..."

Walking up to the three of us, she touches the fabric and examines their quality.

Perking out her lips, she gives weird faces before making her final decision.

"I like the one Elena is wearing..." She says.

"I think pink will look lovely on everyone." Standing beside April, the owner of the boutique agrees.

"It's settled then! Pink is your color."

"Can I go change now?" Cristina pleads.

"Go ahead, Yang."

Turning back around Meredith and I slump our way to the back of the store and change out of our dresses.

"Where's Arizona, isn't she the maid of Honor?" Cristina asks as she is changing into her pants.

"Callie and Arizona are at a marriage counselor.," I whisper.

"They're going to fix their marriage?"

"I guess so..."

Putting my shirt over my head, I grab my pants before hearing my phone ring in the background.

"Hey, Jackson?"

"Hey, I was wondering if you were still up for that coffee?"

"Yeah, I would love too!"

"Where are you? I'll pick you up."

"David's bridal," I say as I squeeze the phone between my shoulder and cheek.

"Alright, give me 10 minutes."

Throwing my phone back in my purse, I finish getting ready before heading back out to the foyer.

"Okay ladies just remember these alterations are permanent, I will not change them after today." The owner says.

"So, we can't gain weight?"
