Sitting on my chair, I had crossed my arms over my chest, waiting for one of them to say something. Their blank faces had rippled down the line before Bailey turns to look at me.
"...Well, this was fun. Next time you want to this again, don't." I hissed.
Getting up, I walked over to the closet when I see Amelia stand up from her chair.
"Sit down."
"Why? We're done talking, Amelia. I heard what you had to say, so did you."
"Elena...I think it's time-"
"No! That is my story. I lived through that, not you." I yelled at Catherine.
"Wait. You knew?" Meredith asked Catherine, who just looked at Jackson and me.
"You both knew!"
"It wasn't my place to say anything," Jackson added.
"Like I said, it's my story. I've told it once, and I'm not going to say it again."
Holding my lab coat in my hands, I look down and run my fingers over my blue lined named.
"We're your family, Elena. We've seen you grow up into an intelligent young woman, a strong mother, we've seen it all."
"That's just it. It was my family, who hurt me. The one person I could count on, the one person I thought loved me more than anything in their life. Why do you think I hesitated to have Theo? I'm never going to tell him how his mother was weak, and fragile in a moment where she needed to speak up...after so many years." I whispered.
"So many years? How long ago was this?" Riggs asked.
Glancing over at Jackson, who was standing just a few feet away from me, he smiled at me before tilting his head towards the chair I was sitting at.
"If you love them, you'll tell them." He whispered.
Sitting back down, I sat near the edge of the chair with my hands resting on the arms.
"It was Leo." I hesitated.
Trying to not make eye contact with Amelia, I looked at the floor, before I felt Catherine sit next to me.
"How old were you?"
Feeling my hands tremble at the edge of the armchair, I grasp the fabric and tighten my grip.
"I was 5-years-old...when he first started."
"Was it just one time?"
"The first time...he was scared that I would be hurt? I guess that was the only time he actually cared, for once."
"Elena, if he cared he would've never done it in the first place?" Alex said.
"I know, but I was his only daughter...I didn't want to picture him as a bad guy until later...After Elliot decided to adopt me..." I said to Amelia.
"What do you mean?"
"How long did this last?" Owen hissed.
Staring at him, I could already tell that if another word came out of my mouth, he would be on his way to practically killing Leo.
"13 years," I whispered.
"Oh my, God." Bailey and Jo gasped.
"Did...did mom know?"
Shaking my head, a tear fell on the side of my cheek.
"Till this day, she doesn't know. And I want to keep it that way."
