Closing my locker in the attendings lounge, I start to hear people come into the room.

"April...I know." Jackson whispered.

"I really don't want to talk about it!" She yelled.

Awkwardly looking up at the both of them, they stared down at me like I was some troubled child.

"Can you leave us alone," April ordered.

Looking over at her, my eyes glance at Jackson who refused to make eye contact with me.

"...I was already leaving." I said as I grabbed my lab coat and scrubs cap from the hangers.

"We can talk about this when we get home." I hear at the distance, with every step I take their conversation slowly fades.

Swinging around my lab coat, I fix the collar when suddenly an announcement goes off.

"Elena, everyone's paged in the E.R..."Callie said as she passed me down the hall.

"Wait, why?" I asked as I ran with her.

"I don't know, Hunt called everyone available."

Taking the stairs instead of the elevator, we ran down several halls before grabbing a yellow E.R gown and meeting up with the rest of the doctors in the room.

"We don't have numbers yet, but be prepared for as many as 20 casualties. Many of them kids." Hunt said to the staff.

"What happened?" I asked as everyone around me started to murmur among themselves.

"A woman drove off a bridge with her two kids in the car. Witnesses are saying that the woman started speeding, she rammed a bunch of vehicles, and then took a sharp right off the bridge i-into the water."

Seeing more people come in the room, I look back to see April headed to the front and stand beside Callie and I.

Angrily, April crosses her arms in front of her chest hiding her stomach around everyone else.

"Police believe this was intentional."

"Oh, my God." Stephanie blurted out as she stood a few feet away.

"With her kids?" Callie added.

Putting on my gloves, I let my eyes gaze down at the floor.

"Let's cooperate with the police and do our jobs, okay?"

Returning back to their stations and be on high alert of the whole situation, Callie and I continue to prepare ourselves for what's coming.

"God, is she one of those crazy moms who tries to drown her kids?" Callie asked as she tied the back of my gown.

"Maybe she needed a nanny?" Meredith says as she stands next to us.

"You heard, Dr. Hunt. We have at least six critical coming our way. Why are you both just standing around." Kepner orders us as she passes by.

"What the hell is her problem this morning. First was yelling in on of the trauma rooms, and now this?" Callie whispered.

"No, she yelled at me to get out of the lounge."

"What?"

"...I told Jackson about the baby..." I whispered.

"Oh, my God. I was just standing here shouting about killing kids. Why didn't you tell me to shut up."

"Does she know?" She asked.

"Uh, I don't know. No, right?" I questioned.

"I mean, if she knew...if you found out that your unborn baby had a fatal disease you wouldn't be at work, right?" I whispered to Callie.
