Caitlin's P.O.V
I was sat on the black leather seat of Justin's car with my knees on my chest and my shoes off so I could be more comfortable while he was singing with low voice the lyrics of an old Ellie Goulding song playing through his iPhone making me relax with his soft voice. We've passed the bridge for the second time and I was so glad that I would stay at his place which is much closer from where we were than mine.
While I was looking at him the only thing that passed my mind was how lucky I am to have him in my life, lucky that he came back to me after everything that happened. Graceful is not a big enough word to describe how I feel that we were given a second chance to try again and work on a relationship that isn't consisted from fights and hatred, to start from the beginning again from the place we were when he first arrived to England so long ago.
I still remember how I felt the first time I saw this person that day on the annual school concert, the day I was finally playing my piano solo that I was preparing for months and months. He arrived with Niall because their organic chemistry teacher had paired them for the semester so Niall told him to come with him and the other guys because on one side he didn't know anyone else yet, but on the other side they we becoming good friends already. I'll thank Niall for the rest of my life for the decision he took that day because it had such a big impact on my life and I'll never be the same person again because of the decision he took that day.
"A penny for your thoughts?" He asked as I had my head on my knees looking at him abstracted.
"Haha... I'm just thinking that I owe my good friend Niall a huge favour for dragging you to the annual school concert when you first arrived." I answered with a smile and he chuckled lightly.
"That's true.... I owe him a lot too...." He whispered and stopped the car at the red light. "If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have you here so cozy talking to me with that beautiful accent and these big eyes looking at me." He added and kissed my cheek quickly yet softly.
"I thought you found my accent stupid..." I smiled and he shook his head.
"Not even close princess... I love it, it's just funny when you're super annoyed and you talk fast..." He murmured and I chuckled lightly.
"Well... Who will be at your house?" I asked while playing with my phone on my hands.
"It will be just you and me probably. You know where my dad usually is..." He said in a sad yet annoyed tone.
"At work or with you know who?" I asked out of pure curiosity.
"With her.... Do you know that they are planning to get married? He couldn't stay in the marriage with my mother or my step mother and now he thinks that a new step mother would be a good thing, a step mother that is hardly ten to fifteen years older than me. When at the same time my mother is on the other side of the planet and I see her once or twice in a year..." He said angrily and pressed the button to open the gate on the front of his house's garden.
"Really?" I asked surprised because we all know that their relationship is far from serious and that Justin's father had tried a various times to get back with his mother even though she doesn't want to after he cheated so many times.
"Yeah... Sometime in May and I'll have to go through this whole thing, with you as my date of course, but still she'll also move with us and I'll have to see her even more in my own house." He killed the engine after parking and took the bag with my things from the back seat without saying another word.
I didn't even have the chance to say something because the moment I was about to wear my shoes he opened the passenger's side door and took the rest of my things along with my shoes, then he picked me up letting me wrap my legs around his waist and walked inside the house through the door that led to the hall and let me down in the kitchen.
