~*Shane's POV*~

I cross my arms ad lean against the wall just slightly.
"Might I continue my point?" Allan questions once they close a d lock the door for Violet.
"Of course, Mr. King." Tim announces with a soft nod.
"You have my apologies for my wife's behavior. Since she lost some of her memories from Josh she hasn't quite been herself." I state, carefully choosing my words to fit my needs for the moment.
"Yes... I'm sure you are..." Allan mutters while staring at me with stern eyes. Allan goes on about how irresponsible I am, making me confirm every bit of his story afterwards. He is telling the truth, just his side. That I was being an awful person to my citizens, instead of trying to protect them. About how my mistake of locking up Ian instead of killing him was all my fault. As if all of that was something I could predict. He had grave crimes, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't kill people as punishment.
"So, Mr. Lancaster, what I'm getting from this is that Mr. King's claim about your compound being taken is true, correct?" Timothy asks me, raising a brow just slightly.
"Yes, it is true like I said earlier. But it was not something I could have predicted. Especially since in my compound we always leave prisoners alive to have a proper trail. Mr. Ian Myers had not had his yet previous to his escape." I explain with an accretive nod. What would Allan reply to that? That I should just go around my compound killing people? That would be a bad move on his part and we both already know it. I am interested to see his response however, since we are so alike in the way we debate.
"A trail? Since when have you had trails in your compound, Shane? According to my notes, Mr. Zen in District 11 is in charge of all justices including trails. Is that correct, Mr. Zen?" Allan questions while looking at Zachary Zen, a man with bright blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that could cut through the polar ice caps with just a glance. I appointed him owner of District 11 quite a while ago, since he is an honorable man who believes in what's right.
"That is correct." Zachary says, the lisp that affects his speech just slightly, but you can still easily understand him coming out.
"However, Shane had contacted me about Mr. Myers a while back, I just had not gone to the Main District for it yet. But I had plans to." Zachary states while staring at Allan with those intense blue eyes of his.
"When Mr. Lancaster contacted you about this criminal, did he inform you of his crimes?" Allan questions him again, he should leave Zachary alone, he will just say the truth about me. I wonder why Allan would try to get information out of the most reliable man in the room. Since obviously Allan is only trying to get out lies about me. If he wants that he should talk to Mr. Garrison.
"Yes, of course. He tortured and murdered multiple people. I already know, why do you ask? This proves nothing on Mr. Lancaster." Zachary states while crossing his arms in a way that shows his annoyance. Zachary runs the biggest justice system, and this "trial" against me is only boring him I would guess. Since, as Violet said, the result is already obvious. The goons against me are only telling lies, and every man in the room already knows that.
"I was only making sure, since that is the job of compound owners when they contact you." Allan states with a swift nod.
"Shane created that rule, and he follows it." Zachary replies while giving me a glance that just shows that he knows I'm better off owning that Main District.
"Alright. That is all I have to say, Mr. Duncan, I give you the floor once again." Allan says while smiling softly to himself. That smile looked too mischievous to ignore, he obviously has something up his sleeve that he thinks will ruin me.
"Thank you, Mr. King." Timothy says as he goes back into the main floor in front of everyone.
"Who is your next representative for the Joshua McNeil side?" Timothy asks, looking at the two goons across the room.
"We bring forth one that Mr. Lancaster actually brought himself. We bring up his wife, Mrs. Violet Lancaster only for questioning." Allan states with that smirk of his still in place.
"Alright, shall we fetch her from outside then?" Timothy asks, glancing to me.
"I will." Kevin says as he stands next to the door and swiftly opens it, walking out. That man has always been so eager to help me, and I'll be interested to see what Allan thinks Violet will tell him. There is not one thing I have done to that girl that she could use against me. The door opens once again and Violet walks in with Mark trailing behind her. He certainly is keeping her safe as I ordered. I always knew I could trust Mark, since he will always keep her from harms way.
"Mrs. Lancaster, you understand what you have been called up for, correct?" Timothy asks, he always make a things fair for me. That is one reason why I decided to have this little meeting here.
"No, no one told me." She says, stating him right in the eye.
"You have been called for questioning only by Mr. Allan King. You may only answer the questions asked, nothing more. Do you understand?" Timothy questions her while nodding slowly over his own words. She shrugs and goes to the front of the room right in front of Timothy.
"I understand. I'll answer any question they want." She says with another soft shrug of her shoulders.
"Alright. You may begin, gentlemen." Timothy announces, going to the sidelines once more while my wife's questioning begins.
