Mark has a cloth in his mouth and has teeth painted around his mouth with, what looks to be, red lipstick. Ian really is a maniac. Mark has bruises on his arms and a few cuts on his face, but a lot of them are covered by the lipstick. He has drawings on his arms, probably a weird design my Ian.
"So, you have six tries, and three bullets. Who are you gonna try first? You're little friend here? Or my little brother?" Ian questions me, with extreme laughter. He slowly walks towards me, spinning the chamber intensely, a huge grin on his face. I know that I probably should go along with his game, but I don't want to be the leader of all compounds who ended up killing someone. Ian grabs my arm and places the gun on my palm and wraps my fingers around it.
"So, who's first Shane?" Ian questions, dragging my name out when he says it.
"What is the meaning behind all this? What will my choice prove to you?" I question him back, refusing to answer play along to his stupid game.
"Oh, you'll just have to see, just go ahead and choose." Ian says, his smile beaming, but a maniacal side to him is still visible in his eyes.
"I'm not killing anyone here, not you, not your brother and not my friend over there." I state sternly, making sure that my grip is strong on the gun he gave me.
"Oh, then I guess I'll have to start killing people, Shane. Why not start with you? Or your little friend? Or even my brother? I don't really care honestly, anyone here can die, go ahead and shoot anyone. Even me, try it Shane, I really want to see you shoot it. Just pull the trigger, it's easy." Ian laughs at his words and holds the gun to his forehead, still smiling. I don't trust it one bit, I don't know what he did, but I'm not playing along anymore.
"Stop this Ian. Just let everyone go and we can get you help at the hospital, or anywhere you want. And if you don't like me, you can be sent to a different compound where they'll be happy to have you." I state, keeping my eyes locked on Ian, just waiting for any sudden moves he may make. Ian smiles again and laughs at my words.
"Oh, I like you Shane. I admire you even, you're a good person, you have power and everyone seems to love you." Ian says, his eyes gleaming in the sun. "So, why don't I become you?" Ian asks and with that he grabs my face and pulls me close to his own. Our faces are only inches apart and I feel his long fingernails digging into my skin.
"Shane! Run! Don't worry about me, this guy is crazy and you don't know what he can-" Mark somehow got the cloth out of his mouth to shout that at me, but he got cut off. One of the men probably put it back in to shut him up.
"I'm not leaving Mark. I'm finishing this." I shout back at him sternly. Ian chuckles and kisses my cheeks in a cryptic manner.
"You're so... Good." Ian says, his voice dragging out each word and then laughing crazily. I don't respond to him, I'm already done with him playing games.
"Ian, just stop." I demand sternly which he only replies with more insane laughter.
"Oh, but I've only started." Ian squishes my cheeks and laughs so hard he almost falls over. I just hope he doesn't fall on me if he makes himself pass out. He suddenly stops abruptly and looks at me intently.
"We searched this whole town for my little Madelyn, or as you people call her, Maddie. She was in her house with her guard dog, and you wanna know where we put her?" Ian giggles at his sentence and tilts his head.
"Where?" I ask, not really caring. Wherever she is, we can get her anyway.

"I put her in my old cell, isn't that funny?" Ian chuckles and examines my face.
"Not very, it's more ironic. However, I have more matters to attend to, so would you please finish this quickly?" I say, rolling my eyes at his insane stupidity.
"What could you possibly have to do Shane? There's not anything to do anymore, not while I'm here." Ian chuckles and rubs my face in an annoying way.
"I'm done playing your game Ian, so finish it." I demand. He laughs at my words and takes a step away, finally taking his hands off me.
"Oh, it won't end, not for a long time." Ian says. "Take him!" He adds and laughs a few times. Some of his men walk towards me and just grab my arms, pulling them behind my back and forcing the gun out of my hands.
"What do you think you're doing? You know who I am, right? This is a huge mistake." I warn as two other men lift me up and being carrying me off the wall.
"We know who you are Shane, that's why you can't stay here." Ian laughs from above me. I struggle in their grasp and try with all my might to get away, but none of it works. I find myself yelling at them, barking orders relentlessly. However, for the first time while owning this compound, they don't obey me. They don't even reply, just continue dragging me along the sidewalk. They suddenly turn around a corner and pound open the front door of my office. Even though my office is a work place, it is also the police station. Originally, I just wanted it because it has nice work rooms and many looping hallways. However, it's the only building in the town that has cells, and we need our police station to have that.
"You don't know the code to get inside my file rooms, I haven't logged in and I won't. You can't get any important information without keeping me alive." I state as they drag me inside and begin taking me to the back, near my office.
"We don't need your useless information. We just need you, and whoever else the boss tells us to get." One of the men carrying me says as they take me passed my office. We then reach the police section of the building and they simply push open the room to the cells. My men had told me that Ian was placed in cell #13. As we pass by, people scream at me from inside different cells. Then they suddenly stop in front of the cell Ian had been placed in, but now Maddie is there, or so I was told. There is no screaming from that cell, instead it almost seems silent as I stare inside it. One of the men let's go of my left arm and the one holding my right arm takes it in his place. The man grabs a key from the top of the doorframe and pushes it in the lock. He unlocks the cell door and pushes it open. Inside sits Maddie, with her hands pushed up against her ears and her eyes closed with tears going down her face. Her hair is matted and her clothes look to be covered in dirt and torn in some places. She looks like she's shaking, very intensely. She slowly lifts her head so it's pointed at the exit and her eyes peal themselves open. In her eyes all I see is fear and longing, I've never seen this in her before. Not since Emmet has come to the compound anyways.
"Sh-Shane... W-what happened? I-I... H-how long h-have I been h-here?" She stammers, now I really know that she's shaking. I now notice her make up trailing all over her face messily, probably from the crying.
"Shut up!" The man who opened the door shouts.
"Ian told us to be gentle with her, Mack! Don't yell at her!" One of the ones carrying me shouts back. They then proceed to enter the cell, and drop me on the floor next to Maddie. I land hard on my shoulder and it feels as though it bruised at least.
"Okay, back to the wall." One of the men says and they exit the cell, slamming the door shut. I jump to my feet and quickly go to the door and hold the bars, putting my head near the holes to see outside.
"Let us out of here right now! I will pay you and I swear that you will not go to jail if you let me out now! But if you wait, you'll be sent to prison and might even be killed! Just let is out right now or you will face the consequences!" I shout through the bars and my hands gripping the cold metal. They all just ignore me and continue along their way. I hate being ignored, almost as much as I hate waiting. Both I do not tolerate, and I'll make sure they pay for their crimes against me. I turn away from the door and see Maddie, still on the ground in complete fear. I decide to sit beside her, she probably needs comfort at a time like this.
"Don't worry, I'll get us out of here. We won't be here for long." I tell her and Maddie nods, breathing heavily.
