Finally, the funeral ends and I try to get outside as quick as I'm able. The room inside has gotten hot, and I am so tired of being in here. On my way, I meet up with Rebecca, Wade, Bob, Maddie and Emmet who all follow us outside. The sunlight outside is so bright compared to the darkness that was inside. I squint slightly from it, with my arms crossed across my chest.
"So, are all of you coming back to 16 with us?" Rebecca questions while looking over all of our companions. I glance at them and then look back at Rebecca.
"I was actually thinking of going back to the Main District. I have to back at some point, and I feel like it should be sooner rather than later." I explain, watching her face to make sure she isn't angry with me.
"Oh, do you want to come by and get your bags?" Rebecca questions while giving me a smile.
"I'd rather just go back home. You can keep anything in that house, but if you find any of Shane's ties, can you send them to me? I don't think he brought many of them, but the few he had are special to me." I state while fiddling my fingers together in an anxious way. Rebecca nods and places her hand on my shoulder.
"Of course. You com me later when you get to the Main District. I want to make sure you are alright way over there. The Main District is pretty far from me after all." She giggles softly while pulling me in for an embrace.
"Thank you for having us there so long, you've been doing a great job running your district." I comment while nodding slowly and hugging her back. She laughs softly and slowly releases me.
"You'll do great too. I look forward to seeing you in our next District Meeting." Rebecca comments. I smile and nod again.
"Do we have a car?" I question, turning to face the others who came from the Main District.
"They said that we would have a ride back." Bob states while his eyes scan the area, probably searching for our ride.
"That car over there, the driver from this morning is waiting." Emmet points at a midnight black car with a man standing outside of it. Maddie nods and gives me a smile, she probably hopes that I've gotten a better view of her after what I've been through. However, if anything, I feel worse about it all now.
"Alright. Well, if you ever need the most fashionable clothes in all the districts, just call. Also, you better make sure to get help if you need it with your mascara." Rebecca commented while smiling brightly.
"Of course." I answer while giving her a nod. She gives me one final smile before giving Mark and I hugs and waving at us as she walks to her limousine. Once she is gone, our now reunited group walks to our own car. The driver seems skeptical about allowing more people to go back to the Main District, until I remind him who I am. After that, he is suddenly pleased to give me a ride back to my district. We all get inside and the driver begins leading us to our destination.
"I have to warn you, the Main District isn't in too good shape right now." Wade comments while releasing a sigh.
"What's it like?" I question, turning my head to face him.
"It's a bit infested." Bob comments while crossing his arms over his chest and releasing a heavy sigh.
"Infested?" Mark chuckles softly. "Infested with what?" He asks while looking around at each of the people who had been there.
"We have to stay inside to keep from being bitten. There was part of a fence in the back that completely broke down and zombies have been walking around." Maddie explains while the others nod along to her information.
"We've been killing any we see, but the numbers have grown since there's not many people in the compound." Emmet adds while locking his fingers with Maddie's.
"We can get military forces from six." I state.
"Six? But that's Allan's district, he won't help us." Mark replies while shaking his head softly.
"Zachary is the law, and he can tell Allan what his duties are to us." I respond while giving him only a glance. I take in a deep breath and exhale slowly.
"I'll take care of it once we're home." I mutter and stare out the darkly tinted window.

We finally arrive back in the Main District and our vehicle drives through the main gate. There are still some people left, and I heard some people from District Four were being transported here since that district has been having issues recently. Although, I know our numbers are still very low in terms of population. The car is stopped and we are all let out. All of us are escorted to our houses one by one. We say our goodbyes to both Maddie and Emmet when we arrive at their home.
"Bye, guys. Hopefully we can hang out again soon now that Mark and Violet are back." Emmet smiles and walks up the steps to his home.
"Yeah, we can plan something soon." Mark responds while giving a wave and a friendly smile. It looks good on him in all honesty. We then go towards, what Mark told me, is my old home that I still do not remember. As we climb up the small steps to the home, I almost stumble back down them as a long string of shivers go down my spine. I stop in the middle of the stairs and grab my head that has suddenly started pulsing.
"Are you okay?" Wade asks me, his eyes showing a certain concern that I appreciate.
"I... I don't want to go in there... Can I take a walk before I go back to the mansion?" I ask the guards who had been keeping a close eye on us the whole time. They answer me with a nod, I didn't think they would say no after all.
"I can walk you around, it's okay. I promise I'll keep a close eye on her." Wade states while giving me a playful wink. I roll my eyes softly and smile while rubbing my temple with a few of my fingers.
"Alright, sir." One guard replies, causing them both to go off on their way back to the wall.
"You have your gun, right?" Bob questions Wade while looking back at him.
"Yeah, of course." Wade replies while revealing his pistol placed in a holster on his hip. It looks to be a dark brown leather, a high quality type object. Both Mark and Bob nod before unlocking the door and heading inside the house. I give Wade a smile and walk down the steps next to him.
