Drew and Lisa are preparing a whole feast. I take a peak into the kitchen and catch some broccoli being steamed. Mash potatoes being mashed and some chicken being breaded. The aroma of the house makes me drool in anticipation. They are out doing themselves. When the food hits my stomach I'm filled with warmth and a bottomless pit and eat as much as I can.
"So, tomorrow we are going to the hospitals around here to see if you belong in any of them." Drew tells me while piling mash potatoes on his plate. For some reason the thought of me belonging to a hospital doesn't  sit well.
"I'm positive I don't come from a hospital." I say looking at Drew matter of factly. At this point my appetite is now gone. Maybe my family  abandoned me, left me to fend for myself.
"All the more reason to believe you belong at a hospital, maybe you were in a coma. You woke up panicked and left." Drew pauses for a bit looking at me then proceeding on, "And on the way out you passed out, hit your head, and now you can't remember." He says.
                              Such a detailed story, Drew.
I can't be from a hospital. The nurses would have been searching and contacting the police. And I would have a bruise on my head, so that accusation is wrong. Of course I don't argue with his theory.
"No!" I say defensively. "I can't be." I whisper more to my self. Drew just gives me a sympathetic smile and shrugs. I need to clear my mind and get out of here. I'm a little on edge, maybe being from a hospital isn't so bad. But no one has attempted to search for me which is odd. I know Drew is wrong, he has to be.
I get up and excuse myself. I head straight for the bathroom, a nice warm shower would help clear my mind.
Once the warm water hits my back I'm instantly relaxed. The noise of the water is calming and helps me piece together everything I know. Shadow man is still unidentified. Drew is hiding something and has only been here a couple of weeks, and it seems Lisa just happens to be in the middle of this.
I'm still here lost as ever. And I might have a stalker on my hands. Contemplating my next move is honestly difficult. Thinking over what to do, I get out, dry up and change back into my clothes. Maybe my next step should be finding a job and getting new clothes. Life is hard when you have no memory. I'm lucky enough to have found Drew.
Feeling fresh and clean, I have a sense to help Lisa clean. I walk straight to the kitchen, looking around to find a mess. Surprisingly everything is cleared and put away. I turn around and walk to the living room. I jump up and scream when I notice a familiar face sitting on the couch. What the?
"You again, why are you here?" I ask trying to calm my racing heart from the fright the tall curly haired jerk caused me. His head shoots up from his phone. One side of his lip twitches up ward in a kinda half smirk. He takes long to respond. I loudly tap my foot, irritated. I wait patiently for a reply and nothing. I'm only greeted with silence. He's completely ignoring me.
"Ok? Another question, where are Lisa and Drew?" This time I walk towards him standing directly in front of him. I don't notice they are gone until now. From where I'm standing I have a clear view of the living room window and there is no sign of the truck in the drive way. Hmmm.
"Hello, earth to Sawyer. Did Drew ask you to come babysit me?" I ask in a final attempt to get him to say something, anything. I sigh in frustration. He has the nerve to look at me, amused. His mouth is opening, he's going to speak; finally.
He mutters a quick, "They're out." And proceeds to sit back comfortably on the couch. I'm not done asking questions, Sawyer. I smile at him.
