"I know a lot of things." Sawyer says, rolling his eyes. I hate how nonchalant Sawyer can be. He has no care in the world, all he does is push people's buttons. He sits there watching me with those intimidating green eyes. He seems to have gathered what exactly I'm about to say.
"Are you going to stand there being mute?" He says after a while.

I know I'm right about what I just figured out, but why? Why would he do that? It doesn't make any sense. I have to play this right, I have to get Sawyer to tell me something without telling me. But he's too smart. I don't know if I can, at this point I feel betrayed. I see Sawyer getting up. My silence is obviously making him uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?" He asks, placing his hand on my shoulder. Funny question coming from him, I glare at him and move away.

"Everything. I'm afraid if I confront you, you'll just twist your words around." I don't want this conversation to be a waste. But like every other conversation it goes nowhere. Guarded Sawyer can't stay here forever, he'll have to open up eventually.

"I know you can't trust me, but I'm trying my hardest to gain your trust." He walks closer, I take a step back. Another empty promise. He will never gain my trust.

"Then start by telling me the truth." I sternly say, keeping my ground. He looks at me, I watch as the corners of his mouth slightly lift, but he keeps quiet. I take that as a no. "At least tell me this, did Bethany frame me for stealing that watch?" He looks away and curtly smiles. Sawyer is usually vocal and him staying quiet is new for me.

"I don't know." He finally mumbles. Yes he does know. Why does he keep these things to himself?

"Please, all I need is a yes or a no. I know there's one decent bone in that body of yours." I plead.

"Who told you?" He crosses his arms over his chest. Okay, at least he's telling me something.

"I figured it out on my own." I cross my arms as well.

"Of course you did." He rolls his eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me? How did she pull it off? Are you guys working together?"

"Always so many questions." Sawyer runs his hands through his hair, he's frustrated.

"Fine, I got all I need. Get out, I need to shower." I'm still sticky from the drinks being spilled on me. Him thinking someone told me, means someone has to know. Right?

"I don't know what the fuck you want me to do." He rolls his eyes. Being helpful would be nice. I roll my eyes.

"Really?" I glare at him, he can't be this dense can he. I'll gladly take the truth. He's avoiding something or playing dumb.

"Why do you need to know every detail? They have nothing to do with you." He snaps. Why did she frame me, if it had nothing to do with me? Maybe he doesn't know, but Sawyer is too great of a lier. He sees things before they happen, he's probably already planned this conversation with me.

"Okay? Well since I'm getting nowhere, leave. I need to shower." I finally say again. I walk away from him and slam the door behind me. Making it obvious I'm extremely upset.

I don't know why I even bother. There's just a part of me that feels like Sawyer will eventually open up; maybe he doesn't trust me? I don't know. All the clues are there that Bethany somehow managed to do all this. And I know she slipped her wording that day I ran into the forest. I usually replay every moment that's happened to me in the shower. Now I know Bethany really hates me. Hot showers make thinking easier, I'm not sure why I couldn't piece the puzzle together sooner. Things are starting to come into light.
