"Hey Opal." Carter greets, flashing me his perfect smile.

"Good morning." I chirp, feeling awkward that Carter and Olivia are watching me walk towards them.

I'm really uncomfortable in what I'm wearing. I wanted to do something different, feel more girly, and act more girly.

I'm wearing a cute button denim skirt with a gray knitted sweater on top.

I snooped around Mia's closet and found black boots, for the rainy cold weather. I even took some of her make up and tried to perfect my face; I don't think it worked out so well.

It took me all morning to straighten my hair, and I think I burned my fingers a couple of times, but I need to learn to be and feel confident. So far it isn't working.

"What are you guys doing here?" I question confused. They usually don't have class at this time.

"Came here to register." Carter says, but looks pointedly at his sister.

"I know, I know..." She looks at Carter. "I should have checked online." She says apologetically whining. She smacks her forehead and shakes her head.

"Checked what online?" I ask, confused.

"The school is closed. I didn't know it would be." She paces back and forth as Carter looks at her disappointedly.

Maybe I should have checked online.

I look out into the parking lot, that now that I'm paying attention is empty. Except for a couple of cars, I catch a black car with two men sitting inside.

I get immediate chills, they're the odd ones in the lot. I think it's the FBI following me. My nerves calm slightly and I try paying attention to Olivia and Carter.

"It's my fault for not double checking." Carter cuts in.

"Anyway! Why are you dressed up so cute today?" Olivia walks over to me and hugs me.

She holds onto my shoulders and pushes me her arm length away.

"Is it because Sawyer?" She asks, wiggling her eyebrows.

The mention of Sawyer causes butterflies to erupt in my stomach and I can't help but keep my face from heating up.

"No." I try telling them impassively.

"I just felt like doing something different." I breath out. Which is true. I think I've only ever straightened my hair once for a dinner party for Evan.

Sawyer didn't seem to fond of it...

"Good, I still have a chance with Sawyer." Olivia gets giggly.

"He's married." I roll my eyes.

And a pig, and a cheater, and manipulative....

"He's married, not dead." Olivia winks at me with a mischievous smile.

"Any plans for today?" Carter asks, before Olivia goes on and on about the Pierce brothers.

I look to the closed building behind me, disappointed that it's not open.

"Nope." I turn around to answer him.

"It's almost lunch, we can go out to eat. On me." Carter offers, with his adorable smile.

"I have nothing better to do." I shrug.

We head to Carters car and he starts driving off. I turn around and see the black car following us, I knew it.

"I don't mean to alarm you guys..." I say and turn around to face Olivia looking at me strangely.

"But I think there is a car following us." I tell them both. Carter looks in his rear view mirror, and changes lanes.
