Sawyers brother looks at me and smiles. The resemblance between them is surreal. Sawyers brother is a little shorter and heavier and he looks sophisticated or important; both. He's wearing an all black suit. Wavy brown hair, that is combed nicely to the side. He seems to know what he is doing, he has the same piercing greenish blue eyes, but not as big and round as Sawyers. He seems more alert, watching his surroundings. At first glance you'd think he isn't someone to be messed with. The only difference is he has a bit of a five 'o clock shadow and seems to be nicer. You can easily tell he's the older one, and the mature one.

"Evan Pierce, and you must be?" he extends his arm out for me to shake and stops mid sentence. I hesitantly shake his hand. Has Sawyer told him my name? I look over to Sawyer, his eyes meet mine. I can't help but notice how bright green his eyes are, he's never really made eye contact with me until now. He looks away from me quick, impatient with this whole ordeal.

"We need to talk," Sawyers brother says sternly. They're both glaring at each other and I feel a sibling rivalry coming on. I look over to Parker who looks embarrassed still, and I'm sitting there watching the whole thing roll out.

"You could have called," Sawyer counters back rude.

"I couldn't. It needs to be discussed in person." Evan says evenly, not caring for Sawyers attitude. Sawyer casts a skeptical eye towards his brother then at me.

"What's so important that you drove two hours here? You'd never do that." He crosses his arms over his chest, waiting for Evans answer, clearly annoyed. Evan clears his throat and looks around.

"Somewhere more private." I take that as a hint to leave. I want to stay and watch, but I feel like I'm intruding. Being nosy is my calling. I hear Sawyer let out a sigh, his face serious. His eyebrows are knit together in concern.

"Hey Parker, do you want to go for a walk?" I ask in an attempt to get out of this situation. Parker is already distracted, he's inspecting his glasses and pretending to clean them.

"Umm, sure." He says with a smile, relief clear on his face. We both get up quick and head out side. Parker slides out of the booth before me and walks out the door. I slide out right after, but before I can reach the door, I'm pulled back. I turn around confused, and see Sawyer holding my elbow. I raise an eye brow up, waiting for an explanation. He looks at me about to answer, I see his eyes flicker pass me; his gaze hard. He's looking at Parker, I try to tug loose. He realizes I'm in his hold and let's go, his face confused; almost like he regretted holding me back.

"Nothing." He says, no apology either. I just stare him down, confused as well. I walk out the door where Parker is waiting for me. I feel like I can breathe now that I'm not in the middle of the stiff air between the brothers.

"I'm truly sorry for lying." Parker says apologetically. His face looks worried, and I can see sorry written all over his face. How can I not forgive him? He looks adorable and his chocolate brown puppy eyes just look through my soul, just begging for forgiveness. We walk around the cafe in a slow and steady pace.

"No, it's ok. You wanted to impress me. It isn't your fault." I smile accepting his apology. His sad face lights up and he smiles.

"So what do you like about Oregon?" He asks changing the subject. So that's where we are, Oregon. Hmm I think for a second and consider. The woods are creepy, so no. The people, I haven't really talked to many of them; that's a no. Parker looks at me and laughs, since I'm taking long with my answer.

"Not impressed by Oregon, I see." he chuckles and puts his hands in his pockets. I laugh a little, still trying to find something.

"Hmm, maybe the weather. I like how cold it is." I really do love the cold, and dressing up cute and warm. Clothes, that reminds me. I forgot I left all my new clothes at Sawyers house. Dammit I have to go back.
