We both stare at each other and I stuff the picture into my sleeve.

My heart races with every passing second as I try coming up with an excuse. But like a child I'm caught mid act and there's no way of going around this.

"I need to sleep, I'm not feeling that great." I lie, and hold my forehead. I start walking toward Sawyer and I slowly dodge around him.

His eyes watch my every move and his arm flies up blocking me from exiting the room. I duck down quick and when I'm out in the hall I breath out. This is a good sign, Sawyer isn't angry.

I don't turn around and slowly walk to the stairs, believing that he doesn't actually see me when I walk really slow.

My eyes close when I feel him grab my wrist and he spins me around...dammit.

I open my eyes and look up at him. The expression on his face is unreadable, neutral and I can't tell what he's thinking. All emotion gone, and I know I'm in serious trouble.

"You have something of mine." Sawyer says, raising an eyebrow up. I play stupid even though he saw me hide the picture.

I blink a few times, trying to get out of this situation. My frantic mind isn't coming up with any possible solution. I need to disappear now....

"Well?" Sawyers voice rises.

"Yea?" I mumble and try to get my hands free from his grip. I'm distracted by his touch on my wrists, the familiar warmth and burning feeling on my skin.

"Give it back." Sawyer threatens. I cross my arms and glare at him.

"Explain to me why I'm in the picture first..."

When he just looks at me I look up and sigh,  a loud frustrated sigh.

"Why? Why can't you ever just have a proper conversation with me? And simply answer all my burning questions?" I exasperate.

"Because... kocham Cię...." Sawyer whispers in a different language.

"What?" I question confused. He looks away annoyed,

"I can't..." He says with a shrug. "It's stupid..." Sawyer says and I roll my eyes.

"Good thing none of this involves you, then. It involves me and Evan. So either you drive me to his place or I'm going by myself." I demand, but Sawyer just smiles at me and puts his hands in his pocket.

He walks over to his book shelf and sits down. I walk over to Sawyer and pull at his arms trying to get him off the couch.

"You're the biggest baby I know. Tell me why I'm in this picture and why you have it!" I demand and grunt at the same time. Trying to pull Sawyer off the couch is a challenge, he's so heavy.

"I'm not involved, remember." Sawyer finally says as he flips through the pages of his book.

I angrily walk up stairs and call Evan.

The phone rings three times when Evans heavy British accent is heard.

"Opal?" His voice is laced with concern. "Is it Sawyer? What did he do?" He asks.

"It's what he's not doing...." I tell him and roll my eyes.

"Can we talk?" I continue after Evan doesn't say anything.

"We can have lunch tomorrow..." He answers and I shake my head no, even though he can't see me.

"No. Right now." I tell him the urgency in my voice convinces him and he agrees to meet me.
