I sit in the back of the car, my heart racing. I can feel myself sweating. I catch the officer looking at me through the rear view mirror and I just want to jump out of the car window.
"How long will I be detained? Will I be in jail forever? I wasn't meant for this. I swear it was an accident." I say all in one go. I hear him chuckle, and it makes me angry. What would Sawyer do in this situation? He can get out of anything.
"It shouldn't take that long. I would have left you with a warning, but neighbors are saying that someone has been coming to that house. Just taking precaution." He answers.
Someone has been showing up? I hope it's not me, sometimes I sleep walk and don't know where I'm going. My stomach sinks further and I look out the window, helpless.
The officer parks and pulls me out from the back. He does it so quick, he makes me bump my head.
"Ouch." I whisper, and glare, but he can't see me from behind.
We walk inside, and everything is slow. People are sitting in the main room. Officers are behind desks and it reminds me of the first day I was here.
At first I think the officer is going to take me through to the main room, and my eyes widen when I see Parker across the room.
Parker spots me and moves towards me, forgetting he's talking to someone, but the officer quickly turns me to a different long hall and Parker disappears.
I'm eventually brought into a smaller main room, with a few people sitting and waiting.
Another guard takes hold of me as the officer goes through a door. I stand there swaying back and forth on my feet, nervous.
"We're going to take your fingerprint and mug shot." A lady with a really deep voice comes out from the same door. She pulls me inside and frisks me down.
"Stand right there." She says, pointing to a line on the floor. I do as she says, and a flash blinds me. She walks me over to a different station and takes my thumb print. My eyes widen, I'm no where in the system they will for sure be suspicious.
"Ok ms. Anderson. You're all done." She says with a smile. I nod, remembering that Sawyer made a fake profile of me.
The original officer pulls me out of that room and puts me in a holding cell. I sit for a bout five minutes and I see Parker pass by.
"Finally, found you." He says. "What did you do?" He says, finally realizing I'm on the criminal side.
"I did nothing. I trespassed but I didn't know." I tell him, panicking.
"It's okay, they can't do anything. I called Sawyer." He tells me with a smile. My eyes widen and I walk closer to him and pull on his collar.
"You did what?" I ask.
"Called Sawyer. He seems over protective of you and you seemed scared when I saw you come in." He explains and now I'm panicking even more.
"No, no, no. Why did you do that?" I question and let go of him. I'm sounding like a crazy person and this is not helping my current case.
"Can I use your phone?" I question and Parker looks at me like I've lost my mind.
"You can't be near here." An officer comes by.
"She's allowed a phone call." Parker tells him, and I nod agreeing.
"5 minuets." The officer says, looking skeptical. He hand cuffs me again and walks me to a phone booth.
I quickly dial Evans number and I'm glad he answers within one ring.
"Hello?" Evan answers.
"I need you to be at the police station. No time to explain, but be here now." I tell him and hang up.
