Where is it? I'm a few blocks down. I'm not even sure where I am, but that doesn't matter. No one cares enough to tell me what's going on, then I'm going to place myself in danger and get them on my own. Forget Sawyer and his, his good looks. I roll my eyes, that's all he is, good looks and lies.

The ally way I'm in is so dark that I'm unable to see anything.

I squint my eyes, trying to adjust to the darkness. I slowly walk further into the alley and I feel slight buzzing in my head.

I try ignoring it; the deeper I walk in the stronger the buzzing...I'm close.

I might die and no one will know, but as long as I get an answer I think I'm okay with that...I think.

The buzzing in my head is almost unbearable but I slowly push forward. My hands are in front of me, guiding me.

I bump into a garbage can and the noise of the lid falls to the ground. I stand still, waiting, listening. I don't think the shadow man has ever made any noise. I don't hear anything after a few minuets so I keep walking.

A light from the side of the building turns on, it's not very bright, but it's enough to light up the end of the ally. I'm at a dead end and there's no shadow man.

Disappointment at its finest...

When I turn around giving up, the buzzing in my head intensifies and I fall to the ground. I crawl backwards and turn my head and I see the shadow figure.

I close my eyes, the buzzing not letting me concentrate and blurring my vision.

"Who are you?" I question, my voice strained. I squint open my eyes, watching the shadow figure look around everywhere. I see movement where a mouth is supposed to be and as soon as it opens it's mouth, static sounds come out at loud volumes. Almost as if the television was on a fuzzy channel, on full blast.

I quickly cover my ears and cry out in pain. My body feeling extremely hot.

"What do you want?" I scream over my pain, and again the shadow figure opens its mouth and all I get is the painful static sound.

"Stop!" I scream. I feel my nose dripping and it lands on the floor, blood.

I try getting up, but all my strength is gone.

Come on, get up. I don't want to die today. I lie on the floor, helpless and stare at shadow thing.

What the hell does it want? It's just standing there, almost like it doesn't know where it is or where I am.

I don't think it can see?

I see it disappear then reappear a couple of times and the static noise gets louder with each disappearance. I finally muster up the strength to crawl forward. It feels like my brain is going to explode. I try not letting the pain get to me as tears fall as I cry.

I'm almost to the shadow man, I just need to touch it. I lift up my arm but sharp pains stab my insides and I let out a dying scream before I black out.

It's cold, I feel myself shaking. My eyes won't open but I hear voices all around me.

"You know damn well why she blacked out." I hear Evan mutter. He sounds pissed, I don't think I'm in the alley anymore.

"It can't be, they're not sophisticated enough to figure out shit." Sawyer argues.

"You don't know that..." Evan says and I can hear him pacing around.

"So she wasn't hallucinating? This whole time....Fuck...." Sawyer almost sounds sad.

"You made her believe she was hallucinating?" Evan asks.
