This guy is going to call security on Sawyer, just because I said he was bothering me; I can get used to this.
My back is toward Sawyer and he is still holding me in his hold, his grip tightens on me as soon as Axel starts walking closer.
"Sawyer?" Axel asks, when he gets a clearer look, realizing he knows him. I feel Sawyer stand straighter, and I can picture him glowering at everyone. I turn to look up at Sawyer, a scowl displayed. I'm waiting for him to burst. Security starts coming closer, and I realize it's a bad idea to have Sawyer kicked out since he's my ride.
"Is my Devil of a brother being a nuisance?" I hear Evan ask from behind us. We all turn to him and I see Sawyer roll his eyes, flipping him off. My eyes widen at Sawyers behavior, and remember he can care less about anything.
"Evan, old friend." Axel laughs at Evans words. I breath out a sigh, okay Evan can get us out of this.
Axel walks over to Sawyer, but is too short to reach Sawyers shoulder so he pats Sawyers arm,
"Didn't know he was your brother." Axel says, pointing to Sawyer.
"It still pains me to think about." Evan continues with the insults and I laugh.
"Is everything alright here then?" Axel turns to me with a concerned look.
I look up at Sawyer before I answer and see Sawyer eyeing Axel, I assume reading him.
"Yes, thank you." I nod, with a smile.
Axel turns to Sawyer, and he extends his arm out,
"Stay out of trouble kid." Axel says, shaking Sawyers hand.
"Right." Sawyer gruffly says, and shakes his hand back, and with his other hand pats the back of Axels back. Mocking how short he is, and a smirk forms on Sawyers lips.
I start slowly backing away from the small chaos I caused, knowing I will hear it from Sawyer later.
I enter a small room, with a few people talking and spot Isabelle talking to a group of girls. I know if I'm seen by her, she will approach me. I try staying hidden between people and spy on her.
There has to be a reason why he still keeps in touch with her, other than nights of fun. I watch as she excuses herself and walks off into a hallway. I slowly follow behind her and see her swaying, she's really drunk.
She leans against a wall, and pulls out her phone. Someone zooms pass me and almost pushes me forward but I hold onto the wall. I look to see who pushed me and it's a man I've never seen before. He walks over to Isabelle and pulls her into a room and I hear her giggle. It's funny how both Sawyer and Isabelle are cheating on each other.
That little spy adventure was boring, this whole party is boring, there's no entertainment. I head to the bathroom to cool off and hide from everyone.
As I admire myself in the mirror and try taming my curls, the bang from the restroom door hitting the wall makes me jump. And in comes Isabelle, trying to fix the ripples from her dress.
"Men are so stupid." I hear her mutter angrily. She looks up and spots me, and she takes a few steps back embarrassed. I smile, not knowing what to do.
"Sorry, didn't see you." She says, I think it's a good thing she hasn't recognized me.
"It's okay, just washing my hands." I tell her, putting soap on them.
"Ooo pretty necklace." She says, walking over to touch my necklace and she stares at it. I try stepping away from her, but the necklace keeps me in place.
