Alyssa

I stared at myself in the mirror and kept thinking back to last night. I can't believe I let myself go like that. I'm so embarrassed. Kayla showed up last night and it was just too much. I cleaned myself up a little then walked out to see Kayla sitting on the couch staring at nothing in particular.

"What is going on with you?" I asked crossing my arms as I leaned against the wall.

"Nobody understands me and it's frustrating." Kayla said.

"I thought you hated everyone...including me so why did you show up here?" 

She looked at me. "You're my sister and I had nowhere else to go."

"You could've went home."

"Are you going to judge me the entire time?" she shot back at me.

I sighed. "Kayla, you need to go home and have a sit down with dad and my mom. The only issue that they are having with you is this respect thing."

"Why can't I just stay here with you? You don't want me to?" she asked.

"It's not that but you have parents and rules that you have to go by. You have to be respectful with them at all times. You coming to live with me isn't going to solve anything. I don't think it's a good idea right at the moment because I have a lot going on and I'm trying to figure things out." I explained.

"Alright, I'll go back but for now I'm gonna get some rest in your guest bedroom." she said getting up and going to the room.

I sat down on my bar stool and stared at my phone. No phone calls or texts. I wish I could take back last night. I have no idea why I let myself get like that. I can't remember everything but I know enough.

I got onto my social media and saw stories about me trying to break up a happy home with this chick Leslie. Apparently she's well known but I never knew of her until I was looking for a spot for my studio. She's going around spreading lies about me.

The knock at the door made me jump a little but I got up and opened it only to see Ryan there.

"What the hell do you want?" I said mugging him.

"What's with the attitude?"

"I'm done trying to Ry."

"I don't wanna do this right now Alyssa. I'm tired of arguing with you every time we speak." he said stepping in the door and closing it.

"I've told you over and over that it's you that I want but you don't care and now this bitch is spreading lies about me. Why did you get her a ring? Why!" I said.

"She don't mean shit to me Alyssa. I don't fucking love her, we just in a weird situation right now that's causing me to deal with her. I want you too. Damn." Ryan said staring at me.
