So after Ryan came over the other day talking all that crazy stuff, I began wondering where he even got that information from to be talking crazy to me like that. Clearly somebody has been in his ear. I'm not even messing with Jericho like that and I've explained to him several times that I am with Ryan.

"What's on your mind?" Jailee asked as I sat in my office finishing up some paperwork.

"A lot." I said.

"Like what?" she said sitting in one of the chairs that I had in my office.

"Sooo, Ryan came over to my place the other day talking about I don't need to have any contact with Jericho and I've been lying to him about still hanging out with Jericho. Like where the hell are you getting this from?"

Jailee just stared at me. 

"I don't know what to say about you and him. Are ya'll not feeling each other anymore or what? It just seems like there is some distance between you and him. It's kinda weird. Does it feel like ya'll are growing apart?" 

"I just don't know. It feels different between us every since I've come back here. He got all these girls that are obsessed with him and he think it's normal and I'm not dealing with shit like that. I got too much going for me right now."

"I don't think ya'll talk to actually hear each other...I think ya'll listen to respond but not actually listening to each other."

"My mom said the same thing." 

"Well because it's true and ya'll don't trust each other. I've noticed that and whether you want to hear it or not...that's not going to get your relationship anywhere. Ya'll have to trust each other."

"That's easier said than done for most people. I don't like the kind of girls that he entertains. Your friend Sommerlyn, I don't like her and I don't want him around her if me and him are going to be together."

"And he'll say the same thing about Jericho. Compromise baby girl. Ya'll not with each other 24/7 so at some point you need to have trust....that doesn't mean being naive." Jailee said.

"We've had these conversations before and it just doesn't happen how you'd imagine. I'm trying with him. We're supposed to be going on vacation with my family soon." I mentioned to her.

"Well maybe you guys should just focus on trying to get things in order before that trip because it would be terrible if you and argued the whole trip and make things awkward for everyone else."

"I'll let you know how all of this goes." 

"Umhm..and by the way Sommerlyn isn't my friend. We're business partner, I'm going to always be rooting for you. I haven't spoke to her in a while actually but you're my friend and my loyalty is with you..not her. I don't give a fuck about her outside work." Jailee explained.

I laughed. "That's good to know. I wanna slap the hell out of her."

"Be the bigger woman that I know you are. I know that deep down you and Ryan really love each other and I'd hate to see it end over some petty shit like that. I wanna come to your wedding and baby sit your kids one day...don't kill my dreams." Jailee said laughing.
