Chapter 38 

Alyssa 

"So what the hell did you do and why did you wait to tell everyone that Ryan was in the hospital half dead? I mean, what is going on? You meeting up with Jericho and shit. Are you fucking crazy?" Jailee fussed at me as we sat in the waiting area of the hospital.

"Nothing is wrong with me, it's just so much going on." I said.

"Your fiancé is in the hospital and you go fucking around with Jericho. I hate his ass, what the hell do you see in him?"

I sighed. "There is nothing going on between Jericho and I so please stop. I'm not cheating on Ryan." 

"Then what the fuck are you doing? That man went and did everything he could to make sure he gave you the perfect proposal and you doing some stupid shit like this. I'd leave you if I were him." 

I looked at her crazy. "Whose side are you on? Nothing is going on with me and Jericho. I didn't even go see him or anything when I told you he called me last. I stayed here in the hospital. I never left." 

"You're entertaining him though." 

I rolled my eyes. "Jailee is this what you really want to talk about? I've been at this hospital everyday with Ryan and have not left his side. I've talked to Jericho a few times through text and it was never anything intimate."

"You do dumb shit and I'm your friend so I'm going to call you on your bullshit. You'd trip if he was entertaining any female that wanted him. It's not fair is what I'm saying. The marriage will never last doing shit like this. I don't know why Jericho won't stop. He's disrespectful." Jailee said staring at me.

"I don't really need this either Jailee, I swear it feels like you're turning against me. I haven't did anything wrong. I didn't do anything or go anywhere with Jericho. I don't want him." 

"So stop talking to him. Just delete him from your life because all he does is cause trouble." Jailee expressed.

"Alyssa..."

I looked up from where I was sitting to see Jericho standing some distance away holding flowers and what appeared to be food of some sort.

This is really not helping the situation.

"Why are you here?" Jailee asked standing.

I stood up as well and walked towards Jericho. "You should go, I can't take any of that."

"It's nothing deep Alyssa, just food and some flowers. I'm just checking on you since you stood me up the last time I heard from you." Jericho said staring at me as I stood in front of him.

"Because I should be here Jericho with my fiancé, he needs me. We're all he got and I don't want to leave him." I said.

"Well who is 'we' that you are referring to?" 

Shit. "My family, you should go. I don't want there to be any problems." 

Jericho is fine as hell, omg. He's so bad for me but I love looking at him.
