Alysha finally, carefully pulled a chunk of rock from the wall, freezing momentarily as the rocks crackled ominously.

But finally, with a grunt, she yanked a slice of the rock out of the wall.
Loudly, she dropped it onto the rough, rocky floor with a loud bang.
Behind her, Nyx yelped in surprise.

Alysha rolled her eyes. "Oh, stop being such a baby."

"Not a baby. Just surprised."

Alysha ignored her, peering through the gap, and sighing exasperatedly at the tiny gap hemmed in by more sharp rocks.

"Fucking shit. This is going to take forever."

"How do you know that's even the right way out?" Snarked Luci, still managing her scathing comments even though she was on her back with a strip of Nyx's shirt strapped around her head to stop the intermittent bleeding of her head wound.

Nyx gave Alysha a look, the kind that said "she's got a point."

Alysha snarled. "I know, okay? I know this place."

"Yeah, but the landscaping is a little different now." Luci chimed. "Sure, you could make an educated guess, but how would you know?"
"Because I know!" Alysha roared, then stopped and calmed herself. "I know. I can feel it."

"Oh, you can feel it. Okay." She tipped her head to Nyx. "L'ange, it looks like we're escaping using evil doppelgangers gut instinct. Hope you're okay with that!"

Nyx gave her a look that willed her to shut up. "You got a better plan?"

"Well, a compass would probably help for a start."

"No it wouldn't, this place is partially magnetic. Would throw it off." Alysha said, burrowing into her newly made hole, leg's hanging out of the top of the wall, swinging almost comically in the air, before retreating back out with another large rock she'd removed.

Nyx winced as she heard the rocks shifted against each other again, and sent a silent prayer that Alysha wouldn't kill them all in a rock slide.
