Sebastian glared irritably at Luci.

Just brilliant.

A-fucking-mazing.

Of all the possible people, this bitch had survived.

Just brilliant.

They eyed each other suspiciously, each trying to predict the others first move.

Slowly, she pushed herself up from the floor to standing, neither breaking eye contact.

Silence.

Then, Luci started giggling, choking out words between her random hysterics.

"That was... And I... and you... I don't... That was so...!"

She rolled up, clutching at her stomach, tears of laughter dotting her face.

She looked up at him, sobering up when she saw his expression. "I don't know anymore."

She swallowed. "Sooo... What now? What happens next?"

He gave her a deadpan look. "Have you seen anyone else?"

"Mayyybe."

"Yes or no."

Luci grinned. "Why? Are you looking for your sweet lady love? Or possibly her she-devil twin? She's got to be fun too. When she's not toting firearms. Then again... Maybe you like that? I don't know."

He growled quietly.

She shut up, lips curling at her obvious ability to get on his wick.

"Anyone? Yes. Or. No!"

"I can't quite remember." She sing-songed, teasing. "I might have. But my poor head got hurt, so..." She trailed off, shrugging, a smirk plastered across her face.
"... What can you do? You gonna hurt me? You gonna kill me? You that angry? 'cause your 'Princess' wouldn't like that."

He looked like he was going to hit her. His fists were clenched, his whole body tense.
But he didn't hit her.

Instead, another idea occurred, the thought visibly fliting across his face.

Without talking, he turns on his heel and walks into the cave system behind him.

Luci watched him go, disappearing into the dark.

Suddenly, her nervous giggles return, although now obviously diluted with other, more panicked emotions. "Okay, that's funny. But you're not really going to leave me. I know you hate me, but..."

She petered off.

Damn it.

The only way out was either back through the 'mouse hole' behind her, or forwards towards him.

And asshole as he was, being alone was suddenly making her very uneasy.
