Alysha's hands clawed at the lip of the hole, pulling herself up into the sunlight, regardless of the hands willing to help her.
She turned her face up to the sky, eyes closed blissfully, smiling in satisfaction, stretching her arms luxuriously.
"Mmmmm!"She tilted her head to look at the person closest. "What? I'm enjoying the sunshine. Is that not allowed?"
The man her gaze had happened to fall on; who was generally younger than the rest, only just out of his teens; swiftly turned his face down out of her gaze.
She curled a cruel smile, running her fingers through her hair and
flicking her front teeth with her tongue.
"Like something you see, do ya?"She looked around the group. "No, seriously, you're all looking at me funny.
Darlings, it's called family resemblance, get over it. Speaking of which, did the others make it okay? Not abducted by aliens on the way up or anything?" She chuckled quietly at herself. Then switched to serious.
"No, seriously, where are they?"A lady approached her gently, carrying a water bottle. "Your companions are resting in the shade over that way." She said, pointing and handing the bottle to Alysha.
Alysha took it, taking a swig. "Thanks, Darling. You getting Johnny-boy out next? Good luck. I'd offer to help..."
"You are going to sit down over there. You've been through enough." The lady said kindly, tentatively making an effort to help the girl like they had the others and attempting to guide Alysha over to the alloted space for those who'd been rescued.
"It's clearly been very traumatic on all of you. You need to rest. We'll get someone to check you all over in a bit. Do you need a hand getting over there?"
Alysha shook her head, twitching a smile. "No, I think I'm fine. You're needed more here, anyway."
She smiled wickedly, turning on her heel and walking off towards the others.
"So, anyone got popcorn?" She asked in a loud whisper, settling down next to Nyx. "This is going to be fuuun."
