Lilith sensed a presence behind the bushes off to the side, and instead of going into the attack like she usually would, she took off like a frightened rabbit, racing over the ridges of the landscape, vaulting a fallen tree in her attempt to get... Anywhere.

She was too weak for a confrontation. In fact, she was barely holding her body together as it was, but still had so much to do.
Running away to return to fight another day.
At this point, it wasn't beneath her.

Julianna took off after her in a flash, which on retrospect probably wasn't a good idea as she had no plan, few weapons and was recovering from a severe brain-rattling in the form of a mini earthquake.
The slight shifts in the landscape hadn't helped. Although mostly the same, everything was just that much off that it was difficult.

Sabrina let out a yell when she saw Julianna disappearing after the mother of demons herself.
She screeched over to her husband, drawing his attention immediately.

"Daniel! Quick! She's... " She gestured her hands in the general direction of Julianna and Lilith, not sure if she was calling him over to hunt down Lilith or stop her impulsive niece from disappearing off.

Still undecided, she legged it after them, her husband following after.

Lilith glanced back, saw Julianna on her tail, hissed angrily and sped up, looking for somewhere to disappear to. Somewhere where she could throw her off somehow.

Putting on a burst of speed, she disappeared into the trees, weaving through the dense branches and trunks, making a point to loose Julianna.

Seconds later, Julianna was alone, looking around frantically seeking... Well, anyone. Anything. A familiar path.

A hand closed on her shoulder, making her scream.

"Oh, shut up!" Hissed Sabrina angrily. "And we're leaving, now."

Lol! Just discovered my phone now auto-fills the names 'Lilith', 'Sebastian', 'Alysha' and 'Julianna' because of the amount of times I've used them!
Also 'Rachel', 'Nick', 'Travis' and 'Mater' if you type the word lady.
But doesn't believe 'Nyx' is a word, and thinks I'm trying to say 'NYC'.
Thank God I proof read, although some passages may suggest otherwise.
