Waiting

"They've been in there an awful long time." Julianna said tiredly, sitting on a low plastic chair, the folder limp in her hands, the wind taken out of her sails.

"Have a little empathy. They're trying to save her life. Your desire to confront Evelyn can wait until they're done."
Magnus said, also tiredly, sitting across from her on the floor, legs stretched out in front of him and back against the wall.

"I'm going to have to inform the Clave though."

"I know. But your going to have to handle it carefully. I'm not sure on the details, but Evelyn really doesn't like them, and with all the stuff in this place... It could easily blow up.
Evelyn's got some controversial beliefs, and she doesn't trust easily. I'm just saying, it would be more useful to work with her than end up working against her.
Especially since she's the only authority you've got on these Draugr."

Julianna nodded. "Yeah, especially if she does have some sort of cure.
I still don't trust her though. Even if it was Lilith who start this Draugr thing, Evelyn was still doing stuff before that. Just this place suggests that she's clearly been doing things she wants to keep secret.
I mean, a underground lab? That thing you mentioned about her wards?
What's she been doing that needs to be kept so hidden?"

"You know I don't generally keep in contact with Evelyn, right? Until recently, we'd probably had about six conversations total in the last ten or so years.
Everything I know I've gathered from a handful of meetings.

I know she's an Shadowhunter though, or was. She's never talked about it though."

Julianna looked surprised. "Wait, she is? I never... Well, I guess I didn't think about it.
That just makes this more strange though. She's definitely hiding stuff."

"You're probably right. But now is not the time to investigate."

I have a small, embarrassing confession.

I can't remember the scenario in which I first revealed that Evelyn was a Shadowhunter and her last name was Stormwalker, so as consequence I'm not sure who knows what about her.

I've tried to find the page again to reread, but I'm not sure which one it is.

So if someone either knows which page it is, or remembers what happened and can sort of remind me, that would be appreciated.
I'm still looking, don't worry, I'm not being lazy. It's just starting to get to the point where I may have to reread the entire book to find it, which I'd prefer not to just because it'll take up a lot of time which could be spent writing this and the next book.

So yeah, would be appreciated.

Thanks!
