A problem

Travis tentatively placed a hand on Rachel's shoulder, and swiftly withdrew it when she jolted at his touch, groaning.

Magnus shook his head. "It's no good. We're going to have to just go for it. Just pick her up and haul her down to the car. Which should be fine, as long as she doesn't decide to struggle against us. Which she most likely will, as it will probably hurt her. And as if that wasn't bad enough, if she so much as draws a drop of blood from us, we're in the same boat as her."

"Yeah." Travis agreed, watching Rachel with sad eyes. "Just saying, maybe there's some way to fashion some kind of... Stretcher or something."

"Possible, but we don't have a lot of time, so if you have a plan, say it now. We don't have time to come up with something from scratch."

"Um... We could pick up the mattress maybe? At least use it to, like, toboggan her down the stairs. It'd be easier and safer for her."

"Yeah, we could do that. Let's do that."

Selene pushed the door of the room open slowly, peering in at the others.
"What's happening?" She whispered.
Selene looked a mess, Travis thought, but then probably all of them did.
No one had slept, they were all wearing yesterday's clothes, and Selene's beloved golden tresses, for the first time ever, resembled a haystack atop her head from lack of brushing or care.

"Baby's down to sleep, I have time to help." She croaked hoarsly.

Travis nodded. "Yeah, sure. We need a hand, we're going to transport Rach downstairs on her mattress, but we need to get both it and her off the bed safely. Preferably, without touching her too much, and without panicking her."

Selene nodded. "Sure. Just direct me how to help. I am at your disposal."

Question: As you have probably worked out by now, Julianna and Cody will be turning up at the house soon. But I can't decide if they should come alone, or bring Izzy and/or some of the others.
Thing is, they know something strange is going on, but they don't know the exact risk, or if there is a risk.
