Thunder rumbled in the dark grey sky as a woman screamed out in fear. A walker rasped for air as it looked around the area, trying to find what it was looking for. The woman's screams made it keep walking that way, but a man stepped out and bashed his hammer into its skull while he kept running towards from the screams.
As he was making his way down the trail, a woman heard his footsteps and went out from behind a tree and tried to attack him, only for him to block it. "Oh my god, Tyreese." She breathed out.
"You okay?" He asked.
She took a deep breath and nods her head. "We gotta keep moving. Where's everybody else?" He asked and she shakes her head.
"They were just behind me. Is there a clearing ahead? A place to regroup?" She asked while feeling her heart fill with anxiety.
"I didn't get very far. There might be a building up ahead. I thought I saw a tower past the trees." He told her while her eyes widened.
"Tower? What kind of tower?" She asked and a woman screamed louder as they were getting attacked.
"This way!" Tyreese yelled for his group mates and they looked over at him.
They fought their way through the hoard of walkers and before they could get far, the woman was pulled away and was bitten as the walker tore off her flesh.
"Mom!" Her son yelled while the father smacked the walker in the head.
"Come on!" The man yelled while they headed for the building.
They saw the large prison area and climbed over the torn down wall. "Hurry! This way!" He yelled and the woman stopped.
"We don't know what's in there." She told him.
"We know what's out here." He told her and then her eyes scanned over the bitten woman.
"Not her." She told the husband.
"Don't." He breathed out.
"She's slowing you down, she's slowing us down. And once we're in there, when she turns..." she tried to explain and the woman nods her head.
