The governor held onto the persons face as he kept giving them blow after blow. "I have to say I was impressed. You had taken a risk. Getting your hands dirty. You know, we were gonna have those biters for our little Michonne and- -" and then Milton cut him off.
"You were gonna use them on whoever showed up." Milton mumbled while his head fell slightly.
"Yeah, that's right. Hey, hey." The governor stated while picking his head up. "Because we didn't have them, you burned them up, eight of my men died." The Governor told him while lifting his fist again and punching his swollen face.
He grabbed at his face again and made him look up. "Now, you knew those men. Huh? They kept you safe, kept you fed." The governor tried to reason.
"As long as I looked the other way." He told him repeatedly, almost parrot like.
"Yeah. Well, it can't be like that anymore. Time for you to graduate." The governor told him and let go of his face, only for it to drop down again.
He picked it back up, seeing the bruises already forming over his pale face. "Hey. I'm gonna tell you the secret. There's a threat, you end it. And you don't feel ashamed about enjoying it. You smell the gunpowder and you see the blood- - you know what that means? It means you're alive. You've won. You take the heads so that you don't ever forget. You kill or you die." The Governor rasped out to Milton as he takes in a deep breath.
"What would your daughter think about what you are?" Milton asked slowly in pain.
"She'd be afraid of me. But if I had been like this from the start, she'd be alive today." The Governor tells him while standing up.
"Did you kill Andrea?" Milton asked and the governor shoved him up and placed him in the room where Andrea was being placed.
"Milton." Andrea breathed out as she was covered in blood and bruises as well.
"See? She's still alive. I'm gonna need her for something." The governor stated as the blonde rattled the handcuffs.
"I heard you in the other room. You don't have to lose any more of your men. Just stop this." She breathed out as Milton slowly got up.
"Your friends at the prison- - I'm gonna kill them all. People are gonna help me. I had to stretch the truth a little bit, but just a little. Now they're foaming at the mouth. You, get those tools." The Governor told Milton as a command and the man looked over him. "I'm not gonna need them anymore. Go on." He told him as Milton started walking over there.
